Great video, thanks! This mv was a kinda satire for the haters. Some said that bts is going too westernized, so bts put korean vibes to video with clothes and sounds. Some said they were just another kpop group, so bts gave this over the top kpop video. Some said they used too much filters in their photos and they put that in the video with lyrics like I know who I am, I never gonna change, I never gonna trade and so on. Some said V looks ugly with his glasses and you see him with glasses in the mv. The list could goes on and on. And are also commenting idol life, they are in a temple dancing, being worshiped, people trying to grab them, all kinda sharks trying to attack them an so on. The face filters comes from one of the V App chats that Namjoon (RM) was doing. He was playing around with different filters and being goofy and a fan commented that he needed to stop. The even sadder thing is he immediately apologized and stopped. I wanted to cry. You could see the shock on his face.
And Taehyung (V) wearing the glasses was the same. Someone on the app told him he looked ugly wearing them. And he held them up and was like, "these??" And he looked so sad.
And Jungkook's, Suga's, and Jin's (all of them, really) hair are because so many people have said they look or would look bad with dyed hair.

I think the filters are about when RM was enjoying himself using filters during his V-LIVE, then someone told him to just stop.
There's so many scenes in the MV that are symbolizing their experiences from their haters (the SHARK) and from those people who claimed to be their fans but didn't even support and love them for who they are, instead they kept on dictating them. People are so crazy, I mean they should let the boys do whatever they want and support them in the nicest way possible, without hurting their feelings. They're still humans so people should let them be themselves.

The snapchat filter are used because rap monster a.k.a rm, when a person saw him live using filters they say to take it of and it doesnt look good on him, so he was like "I know what I am, i know what i want, I'm never gonna change" on the song

I started in kpop solely as a BTS Army and have since become a multifandom. I just don't enjoy this song and the video makes my head hurt. BTS' sound is changing (which is fine, musicians are supposed to play with their sound and experiment), but I definitely have a preference for the music they put out a few years ago. I'm hoping to enjoy this song more live, since I'm going to one of their shows in LA and to their show in NY. Also, I'm going to keep asking until you react to it, so will you please react to PLT Hocus Pocus? PLT artists are super talented!
