I love simple reliability😁 Id love to see more posts re: maintenance and repair. Super nostalgic😁 I love the 250 Polaris, along with the Honda TRX300's. Those spool up pretty damn fast for a small ATV once running 100%
I used to have a 1999 Polaris Xplorer 400 but sold it due to too many problems with it, however it did start pretty well just didn't need it. Plus, I replaced it with the 1983 Honda ATC185 I have now that i bought as a project. I do plan on selling it after a couple rides so I can add some accessories to my KingQuad and to give my Moto-4 a glow up since although it runs well, physically it's in rough shape. Howevwr this thing seemed to run really nice and I bet that will make a great trail machine, and surprisingly, doesn't look like it needs much work! Plus I really wish 2-stroke ATVs could still be made but sadly dumb california emissions ruin all the fun.
@@rockspowersports yeah I feel like I should keep it just for a little while. However I'm just a high school kid and i paid a precious 850 bucks with repairs all of my own money so it was a bit. However I do plan on getting a seat cover for it since the current seat is ripped then I might sell it for 1300 or 1200 just make a couple good bucks off of it then work on my Moto-4 and KingQuad which I didn't really pay for but I worked for my dad quite a lot so I guess it paid off. I don't need much more especially since my dad also has a KLX250 and him and I are also working on another KingQuad 700 I have some shorts on the progress.
Do you have any info on these because i have acquired one from a neighbor of mine it turns over and has good compression but the carb boot is completely busted for the oil injection
The boot is easy to replace but if the oil injection is screwed up they make new cylinders, it'll cost you about 80 bucks from Niche Industries. I have an 86 trailboss and completely rebuilt the engine it runs like a top now with the Niche parts on it and a Mikuni carb
I have artic cat 90 cc four wheeler I don’t know what year it is early 2000s I think. I tried taking the clutch housing off to remove the spacer in the clutch, but decided not to. And something happened that I don’t understand and it hasn’t run since. Do you have any tips for me?

@FullsendOffroad I’d keep that ATC185 if I was you, they are getting hard to find. But I guess the moneys always nice too.

Nice
the front almost looks like a yamaha moto 4 200, especially the headlight with the neutral & reverse lights
@colinthepanamerican I’m pretty sure they use the same headlight as the moto 4. Looks identical anyways.
Arkansas Wavin
I have a 1995 Polaris Magnum 425 2 x4
i have the 1988 thats the same model but is very rare since they only made a couple thousand
I hate too be the too tell you, but you will have too get one more quad to be declared insane.

Have you checked all your wiring? Maybe you accidentally unplugged something when you tried taking the clutch housing off.
Thank you I went back and checked the wiring and there was a ground wire that I didn’t get connected
How much do u rely on OIL INJECTION????…
