😄 ladies she uses sodium laureth sulphate to wash and use a conditioner with silicones. This I realised works for our hair and I guess we should all embrace this ,so simple and straightforward to follow.

Our? Everyone’s hair isn’t the same regardless of race. My hair hates sudsy shampoos. It gets dry and stiff. I’ve learnt to keep them to an absolute minimum or else my growth is stagnant.

Grace Osas thank you for watching! The process takes about 1hr 45 min to a maximum of two hours.
It used to take me a lot longer because I was trying to do so many things. But I realized that Consistency and sticking with a basic routine that involves feeding my hair what it needs makes it a lot easier. Ultimately, practice also makes perfect.

Thanks for the video. I have a question... What are your tips for preventing tangles on wash day? It will be helpful to know so I and some others will not put off washing and conditioning for so long for fear of tangles. I hate detangling because it's just painful :)

    • @MrsCharityUmar

Over the years, I have found that washing in smaller sections helps with preventing tangles. Finger detangling before applying a comb is also helpful.

    • @MrsCharityUmar

Lydia Ogualiri for sure. When I rinse, I keep the twists in but I will occasionally remove a few twists to allow the water to run through and then I retwist. You can do the same for all of your twists but be sure to retwist to prevent tangles.
