Lucky Penny Thoughts: I promised in a previous cotton candy video to show everyone my professional cotton candy machine. This machine has made 1,000's batches and continues to perform great. It is not a home model and made for larger cotton candy production. The machine was never really used to make cotton candy on cones, but to put in tubs and bags that you see on sale at concession stands.
Later!

This is so strangely amusing. I could watch it for hours.
Cool! It is the spinning :)
No not the spinning for me, its the cotton candy
I forgot to mention in the video that when we used to make cotton candy to fill for retail sale we always had plastic food handlers gloves and hair nets :) Also, no long sleeve shirts. As you can see it sticks to your clothing :)
that gauge was a voltmeter why would you check it for temp
You must be quite the entrepreneur. It seems like if there was a way to make money doing it you did it.
iApplereviews
That is connected to the heat control. The gauge in the green area indicates there is enough heat. Turn the heater up, and it increases the volts to the optimum performance.
Are you actually wearing eye protection? Because I have never seen someone wear some.
Delicious very Do you eat a lot I've done this in Thailand. Because I live in Thailand and I was not eating very often Thailand.
One of the best things to eat, fresh out of the maker-cotton candy. I'm blessed to have a dad who has one of the professional models and makes cotton candy for all of the kids at Halloween. I've enjoyed all of your maker serious and the cotton candy ones. Thank you for your amazing videos!
That’s a great idea for Halloween! Candy is too pricey now! Is it affordable to give out to the whole neighborhoods?
I recently found out that in some countries it is called Fairy Floss. I love that! It fits the product somehow and adds a little magic. 🙂
Thank you for making my childhood great
Omg omg i cant believe he actually saw my comment thx bro you are a legend
"'Course, you don't want to stick your hand in there."
*Sticks hand in there*
The stick is small
I mean short
Cheyenne Rowe
+Cheyenne Rowe i believe he meant the part where he pours the sugar in :)
Man vs pin did it
At my local laundromat there was a cotton candy machine. It worked like a vending machine. You put in $, a robotic arm grabs a paper stick, and sticks it in a tiny machine. Then it used the same process you do.. Then it pulled it out and it was huge. The arm then dropped it into a slot. And this was all for $1
I have seen a video of that machine on RUclips. It looks like a cool machine.
LuckyPennyShop.com they have one at welk resort
Awesome! I have never seen anything like that before. I love cotton candy.
I saw one at a candy store Rocket fizz it was out of order and then 2020 being how it is the candy store close down
This was so satisfying to watch in a soothing, calming way.
That is cool!
I bet you and Butch had a great time eating all that! (;
i remember watching this years and years ago just binge watching, feels like decades
I want this for Christmas... Even if I don't celebrate Christmas. xD
How do they make the rainbow version in bags? It's like a seemless colour change.
But it is odd that they haven't invented a device to constantly feed sugar in from underneath.
It is probably done with this method. We would first fill 50 bags with pink, then run the blue and burn it out until it was the true blue. The burn out usually was eaten later by us or in some cases tossed. You would think there would be a hopper or control system!
You make me feel so young.... This is 7 years ago, I was 3
@@brownnt89 I was ten when this came out.
Wow, Larry really IS everywhere
I love these industrial type machines. Thanks for sharing the process!

We call cotton candy Sugar Spider in the netherlands because it looks like a spider web when it builds up. I've never seen it building up so it is nice that you showed us! Thank you!
That's the machine I have. So glad to see a video about my machine.
Honestly, this is all I want to watch.
Me too 😋
It sorta looks like a sugar spider web when it's building up! I really like the look of that! so cool!

Yay! I have been hoping you would show us your industrial machine. It's my childhood dream to have a cotton candy machine. You rock LPS!
Thanks! The smaller ones work and you can have fun with them. These machines are work horses and will run for ever.
Aahhhh i love you show or channel. Watching this everyday is like my new hobby. You always make me hungry.
Omg! *hires LPS Dave to make me cotton candy*
Awesome. Thank you !
That's so cool i love cotton candy !
Wow!This professional cotton candy maker is better than the toy cotton candy maker! I think this is faster and more to process cotton candy! The cool maker you have! Is it very expensive?
Yummmm
Just bought one of these machines used. Disassembled the head completely and cleaned everything. Works like a champ. A lot better than the unit from China bought previously.
I don't use the commercial sugar instead I use cane sugar and make my own flavors which include Carolina Reaper, the hottest Chile pepper presently available. My customer base is predominantly older people and they love it more than the children.
Yep, it is a work horse machine. I found a local shoe repair guy to make the leather straps, really cheap.
I just got this machine from my grandparents and since it has been in storage it is in desperate need of a good cleaning. Can you please help me out with how to disassemble it? I'm terrified of doing something wrong and messing it up.
Janie Chavez I have never taken this one apart, I just hand clean it after each use. Sorry I could not help.
LuckyPennyShop.com the part that I'm most concerned about cleaning is the bowl where the sugar is poured into and the slits where it comes out. The sugar is just built up around the edges and I don't know how to get in there to clean it all out. From the looks of it I might just have to get in there with some q-tips and/or a soft brush and some warm water.
Janie Chavez There are four screws on the top. Remove those, and the top will lift off. If it doesn't easily, just tap it lightly with the handle of a screwdriver. That should jar the sugar that is built up. Put that into water along with the screws to dissolve the sugar. There are other fasteners inside. Remove the ones that connect the electric coil. Don't immerse the coil, instead run water over the coil but be sure to not get water onto the connector area. It may take some time to dissolve the built up sugar. Be patient. Let everything dry over night and then reassemble.
Luckypennyshop, you guy's are very lucky right now. 50 degrees in January, while in Minnesota, were freezing our tushies off.:P
I have a high stress job in the medical field and its such a treat to watch your videos and relax your so much fun.:)

I LOVE to watch LuckyPennyShop videos
0:05 reminds me of a classic washing machine lol. I love it lol, and I love your videos!
1100 bucks?! WOAH!!!!!!!! Man, you better sell that candy if you're going to pay that much! GOODNESS!
On average a bag or cone of cotton candy sells for about 4 dollars sometimes a lot more depending on the venue but @ 4 bucks with your cost being abot .07 cents per bag how many bags do you need to sell to pay for your machine? Less than 300 then from there you are running at 93% profit! If you sell just 275 bags a week or 40 bags a day through parties of all types events and fundraisers or consignments you would easily bring in $1,000.00 per week net profit! With a higher price of 5-7 dollars the numbers are even more crazy!!!
Yeah, I can see that but WOW!
*****
Can't you just use table sugar like normal?
+cnith2 its flavoured and coloured
Nathan Davy

Compared to the professional machine, those other cotton candy makers you've shown just feel like a toy.
I'm amazed at how much and how fast this machine made cotton candy.
Thanks for finally showing off your professional machine to us, but now I'll be spoiled next time you do a countertop sized cotton candy maker. :D
