Amg cute nito parang gumagawa lng ng Class Project. I loved how supportive their management para makapagexplore at matuto sila.
One thing about alamat is that they put heart in their works.. So proud of seeing them growing as artists kahit sa maikling pagsubaybay kopalang sa kanila. I really hope the time of their biggest breakthrough will come soonest because these young men deserves more recognition not only for putting out "Filipino trademark" in their craft but also for their continues hard work in everything. These boys always serves and they DESERVE to be known!! More exposure for them please!!!

1:22 Jao: Hi guys, we are starting to record our new song, made by Mo, and produced by Alas.

1:35 Jao: And the title is “Noli”.
1:40 Mo: [This song] is different.
1:57 Tomas: So, we’re here today, actually in the middle of recording. Then, why are we at home recording? Actually, Viva did offer a recording studio. But we, Alamat, decided that we would prefer to try to record it ourselves. Alas is the one operating, and we are the ones doing the ad-libs and harmonies, we’re the ones that will decide. This is the only time we’re deciding the harmonies, actually, and the ad-libs, too.
1:31 Tomas: I don’t know, I think we wanted to learn on our own. We’re trying to see if we can stand on our own, even without the help of something bigger like management. Because, to be a great artist, you shouldn’t just [rely?] on management, you should also learn to stand on your own feet.
2:50 R-Ji: It’s nice to be able to record at home. It’s like a home-cooked meal, always delicious.
2:57 Tomas: What we liked about recording at home is that we’re not in a rush. It’s like, we’re working, just us.
3:07 Mo: It’s enjoyable. R-Ji: We’re just in our pajamas.
3:09 Tomas: We’re in our pajamas, in our at-home clothes.
3:10 Mo: It’s true, it’s really enjoyable. Tomas: Me too. Mo: I enjoy this setup. We have more time to think “Oh! That would be good to put here”.

3:23: Mo: Our creative juices are really flowing.

3:34 Mo: But, yeah, I wrote this in the perspective of, you know, Noli. I was inspired by the story of Maria Clara and Ibarra. I thought “if you, me, or you (pointing to Tomas and R-Ji) was Ibarra, what will I be willing to do to be with the person I love?”
4:00 Mo: Oh! I love (pointing to R-Ji) the electric [guitar] that you put at the end. I feel like that’s what added the flavor.
4:10 R-Ji: Actually, that was recorded before. And it’s not just willy-nilly chords or notes. I thought what would fit right with the song. Then, I put flavor of the first sound (R-Ji mimics guitar) and it had a “Spanish” appeal. Then I made it sounds like incomplete or not enough [to leave you craving for more] so that the song would be played over and over again. And hopefully it works.
4:40 Tomas: R-Ji is really deep. R-Ji is really a deep thinker.
5:05 Mo: So what’s up guys? This is Mo (laughs). Obviously, cause this is an Alamat vlog. So yeah, this song that we’re recording is “Noli”. I saw the story of Maria Clara and Ibarra, and I just thought “Why couldn’t I write a song where, if I’m Ibarra, what would I do for Maria Clara, to be with the person that I love. Then I wrote the song. And then I made them listen to it. And then it was decided to make this our song. Because, the song really fits. I don’t know but, I feel that this really fits us, and there’s new flavor, and then R-Ji also put an electric [guitar] at the end, so it’s really dope/bad-ass. Also, everything - the instrumental, vocals, the writing, is all Alamat.
6:11 Alas: What’s up guys, this is Alas, from Alamat too. I’m one of the producers of this song, and when Mo sent this to me, it felt new and strange because it was slow and heavy on the bass. Then, that’s the challenge to me. As Mo said, the song was inspired by Noli Me Tangere. So, for me, for the instrumental, I made it classic but with a touch of modern. That’s where the bass, guitar hits. It wasn’t really difficult to me because when we were making this I would come here and be with R-Ji, Mo, and Tomas.
Few things I discover about "Noli" na talaga naman mapapabilib ka.
1. Mo creating the lyrics is a 1000000x, love the vibes!
2. R-ji's impressive guitar skills.
3. Alas, showing his skills on mixing music.
4. 6inoo's giving their creative side.
all in all, dugo at pawis nila tong kanta!
Ganto talga genre nila contemporary rnb super effortless, bagay sa mga boses nila
Totoo na ang pundasyon nila ay Contemporary R&B, pero nahahaluan ng ethnic elements at folksongs, at ng multi-lingual rap. Yunik talaga ang konsepto ng Alamat, hindi magagayahan ng ibang grupo. Pero nagbibigay din ng modelo sa ibang P-pop groups, kaya mas nangangahas ang ibang mga grupo na maghalo ng Bisaya sa kanilang lyrics, dahil nanguna na ang Alamat. Hinihintay ko na kumanta sa Tomas sa Bikol (nag-jamming na sila ni dwta), o kumanta si Taneo sa Iloko. Waray galing kay R-Ji, Kapampangan galing kay Jao, marami pang maaambag ang Alamat sa kulturang Pinoy. Nagbago na ang OPM at P-pop, dahil sa kanila, at nag-uumpisa pa lang ang kanilang tinatahak na paglakbay.

Parang gumagawa lang ng thesis. Ito ang maganda sa Alamat, hindi spoon feeding hindi katulad ng ibang Idols asa lahat sa company nila.

Grabe! Lalo akong na-amaze sa kanila. Natutuwa ako pag nalalaman ko na sila yung gumawa ng lyrics, arrange, produce, nag choreographed ng dance, small details sa mv mga ganung stuff. Hindi lang sila basta basta kumakanta. Alam mo talagang love nila yung craft nila and true sila sa branding nila when it comes to incorporating Philippines culture and history. Galing talaga! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Noli is my favorite track in IsaPuso. I was also amazed knowing Mo wrote this and Alas and RJi produced it. Alamat is really worth to stan.. They're PPop!!!

I have been very vocal that Noli is my favorite from IsaPuso, because this is a masterpiece of the members. By far, this is the BEST recording - short but sweet 🤎! Hindi lahat ng P-pop groups, may matino na management. Kahit Viva, maraming artista na signed sa kanilang label hindi nababahaginan ng badyet at panahon para sa promo at bagong kanta. Mabuti at naisip ng Viva na magtayo ng hiwalay na production company, Ninuno Media, at bigyan si JP Laxamana ng kalayaan at kapangyarihan na gawin ang kung ano ang gusto niyang gawin. Swerte rin (silver lining sa maitim na ulap) na dahil sa pandemya, nabigyan sila ng malaking oras at atensyon sa training, habang nauntol ang mga proyekto sa pelikula ni Direk.

First time I heard Noli teaser, I knew this was going to be my fave. Stoked to know it's a very special one, written by Mo 😍 , produced by Alas and R-Ji with collective creative vocal arrangements and input from Tomas and all of the boys. Can't wait for the choreography and MV to come out. I'm sure Jao and Taneo will have a hand at this. It'll be nice if they also conceptualised the m/v to keep the entire song made 💯 by the 6inoos!

Sadyang magkahalo ang klasiko (1870's vibe) at modern sa teleserye, meron pang time travel sa pagitan ng kasalukuyan at nakaraan. May klasik na tunog ang track, pero may electric guitar, salamat R-ji.

I've become a magiliw since that The Juans Live Cebu at naging front act ang Alamat pero I have a close friend na solid magiliw na and she used to tell/share their songs to me even past 2 years. Ngayon lang talaga ako nagkatime to really check and stan. Super special ang Alamat para sa'kin because I never had histories of legit fangirling on any boy groups, mapa K-pop or P-pop😂 Pero seeing Alamat now, makes me wanna question where was I on the yr nung nagdebut sila😭
So, i'm officially a 'IsaPuso' era magiliw😭😅🥺 Nung narinig ko pa lang teasers ng tracks, Noli has been my top1 fav😭 Now seeing how the 6inoos worked for Noli made me appreciate them more individually and collectively.

You are doing extremely well, boys! 👍🏼 Since nasa early stage pa lang kayo ng karera niyo, maganda rin talagang may aalalay sa inyo, so just learn & take in everything you can.. I, personally, appreciate na on the sides, despite how increasingly busy y'all are now, you are continuously honing your craft & are taking the initiative to become even better artists.. 😊 Naalala ko si GD sa BigBang, he was tasked to create one complete song a day regardless of how hectic their schedule becomes & chine-check ng big boss.. Una kasi talaga muna yung discipline, then eventually yung pag-perfect ng craft dadating with the help of getting constructive feedback from respectable & trustworthy artists that you acquire connections with along the way, lalo pag nahanap nyo na yung sarili nyong sound.. 😉 Huling hirit ko lang, please take it with a grain of salt & know na I'm saying this not to pull you down but to challenge you because I believe in your talents.. I rarely see you guys rehearse both singing & dancing together, unless na lang you're about to perform somewhere.. I'm not sure kung dahil di lang maganda ang pag-capture ng vocals nyo live while dancing or talagang kinakapos talaga minsan hininga nyo dahil sa intensity din ng mga dance moves ng songs nyo.. But I've seen other artists (solo & group, local & international) na di nag-buckle ang vocals kahit masayaw, & it's because they do everything when they rehearse, di siguro full-out all the time since rehearsals lang, but always rehearse everything & correctly at that.. Kasi once sablay ang rehearsal, magiging habit na sya at mahirap i-correct eventually hanggang mag-perform live.. Anyway, I don't know everything, so again, take what I said with a grain of salt.. I really love Alamat & I want y'all to soar high 😘
This. As much as I support them, medj di pa ganun ka-stable live vocals nila. Dancing -wise, in sync naman sila. Vocal stamina nila Sana mas mag-improve. 🤎
