- By far the best fishing experience we had from all the Ontario provincial parks or maybe I just got more experience in fishing haha.
Restoule Provincial Park
Day 1:
We spent only a couple of hours figuring out the water on our first day but wow I regret not bringing the net. I tried to lip the fish about 5 times but she came off the hook after the last thrash. That smallie could have well been my personal best.
Day 2:
Started off the day super early and targeted drop offs along the shoreline and as you can see in the video, the smallies were hitting! We both threw the Berkley Chopper and I mixed it up with the Live Target Perch and the classic Wacky Rig.
INTEX K2 Explorer Review:
Easy to set up - Took about 5 mins to inflate everything. The yak has 3 separate valves and 4 separate ones for the seat.
Portable - The entire yak, the paddles and seats all fit in a duffle bag that does not take up much space.
Lots of space - The boat feels like a hybrid between a kayak and canoe. Able to fit a bag behind the back seat and my fishing gear. I am about 6'2 and I was comfortable the entire time we were on the water. This is with two people on the yak as well!
Very stable - Not once did we feel any imbalances with the boat. Felt very confident in it.
*Just make sure not to get too close to hard surfaces like rocks as it did scratch up the skeg at the bottom of the boat.

@@ShermanSu Is there a lot of grass on the lake?
@@Beimeituweiluya Havent explored the entire lake but only one area had a lot of vegetation. We threw our frogs there and got hits but nothing landed.
Just curious, what time of the year was this? And what part of the lake.
Nice smallies!
What were y’all using?
The lures we used are stated in the description!
@@ShermanSu my bad

What happened at 6:24 after you released your gfs smallie?
Sweet video!
If you look closely, a giant snapping turtle was beside my hand when I released the fish!!!
