It would be interesting if someone can get mao in an interview, btw is mao a he or she? Never see mao in person. Only the name or maybe i miss some of the video about him/she whoever the person looks like.
One thing that doesn't get pointed out much is the influence of early '70s prog on the recent wave of techinically brilliant Japanese bands that we're all falling for (maybe especially the drums). The violin and the way it swings is a lot like Caravan -if you put 40,000 volts through them to blow all the grass away- and also reminds me of Eddie Jobson (UK, Roxy Music). But there was a lot of violin-driven stuff at the time, both from classical and folk roots.
an other super band with heroic japanese girls. waka and mizuki are tamu marata's friends , akane the singer had worked with kanami and yuki on guitar is ...amazing. and what i can say about the violin???... i've forgot her name shame on me !!
He's not wrong about Akane's vocals having a pop vibe. Before this project, she was the center-front singer (along with Rumina Murakami) for the pop girl group Predia. That group disbanded back in 2022, I believe. There are plenty of their videos on RUclips to check out her singing style before this venture.
Here for Wakazaemon, she's done so much session work around Japan. Her work with Daisuke Kurosawa and Murata Tamu in their X-Japan project was how I first found her. Amazing bass player.
Great band and song. Loved it immediately when it came out. Listen almost every day to this song. And written by Mao, one of the writers of my all-time favorite band, LoveBites. Thanks for this reaction. ❤❤❤
Really hoping for more from this band maybe after pink hair girl Wakazaemon is done with a tour playing bass for Marty Friedman been following her for a while on Instagram she's usually always doing something there was a band she had a few years back That popped up on my RUclips feed which is how I got to know who she was also this is really different for the singer normally she does a lot of j-pop music on this song she has more of an aggressive style in her vocals compare to what she normally does All in all can't wait to hear more from them
Fun Fact:The bassplayer is Wakazaemon, she was selected to be the bass player for COLONANAMOLEMOMO, formed by the world's first band franchising by the band MAXIMUM THE HORMONE.✌
Great song. Unlucky Morpheus vibes, but I enjoy this singer a little more than Fuki. Fuki can be very shrill to my ears when she starts going for those higher registers. The singer, Akane Minato, was actually in "Mochi to Cheese" with Kanami and Akane Hirose.
Was this video re-posted? I feel like I've seen it before and how I've been listening to this band for a couple of weeks because of it!? Or did I dream it and I found them myself? Either way, I can't stop listening to this song! Can't wait for more...
I hope they continue as a band because this song is really good and hopefully they will release more high quality songs like this. But Unlucky Morpheus is still on another level in my heart😄
Hard to ignore comparisons to Unlucky Morpheus. I gotta agree - they give them a good run for the money - the vocals, the bass, drumming, and the violin: Sweet! Thanks for the intro, boys - this was sick! I will be checking out more of this band fer sher!
It just barely kisses power metal kind of like Aldious does (even though Aldious call themselves a power metal band). If it was actual power metal I'd be out the door. This is pretty cool and anything with Yuki is probably going to be solid.
Horrible, East of Eden were a Folk rock band from Ireland early 70s, Jig a Jig, their most popular, I like all Music, bur this is not for me, formulated pop.
one thing i can't get over with japanese bands is the operatic vocals. its just really not a sound i like with heavy guitar and drums. without it this song would be an instant playlist add for me!

A lot of talk about the violinist understandably but personally I also like the vocalist
The guitarist is Yuki from D_Drive, a very underrated/unrecognised guitarist.
I'm very oblivious normally but this time she was the only one I knew in this band beforehand. She's great 👍
The track is written by mao. (Judgement Day / Holy War [LOVEBITES]), (Face the Fear [Lonesome Blue]), LIGHT BRINGER...etc.
That mf is really good.
It would be interesting if someone can get mao in an interview, btw is mao a he or she? Never see mao in person. Only the name or maybe i miss some of the video about him/she whoever the person looks like.
@@Ridth-oneMao is a man. Was the keyboardist for Lightbringer with Fuki
@@Ridth-oneMao is a guy. He was the keyboardist for Light Bringer and some of Fuki’s other projects among other things.
@@gordonbell8728 oh wow, will look him up for his songs compositions!
@@PurpleDracos thanks for the infos!
I like the tone of the singer's voice.
Damm these Japanese Bands are Going to kill me with Talent.
Yepp me too. But the Dudes react not so much talented
Amazing song. I would pay good money to see the guitar and violin going back and forth for several minutes in a concert 🙂
Yuki-san from D_Drive - one of my fav female guitar players. Really happy to see her in other bands as well.

I like the vocals she has a unique colour to her voice. On the edge of vibrato but not fully going into it.
I really like her vocals starting around 9:17

Thank you Dicodec, this is a great new band and I will definitely listen more from this band.
AYASA and MIZUKI from LONESOME_BLUE. Another sister band with LOVEBITES.

This is a great sound. The music flows well and the vocals match.

Спасибо, дорогие! Отличная реакция! Мне понравилось это видео и ваша реакция на него!👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Did you notice the custom 5-string violin? Metal as F***.
😁 5 string violin
I really really like the Singer
Love it!🤘🏻🤘🏻
Amazing song and yet another all female band from japan. What the heck man. 😮🤩😃😊
Guitar and violin battle!! Yyeeeaaaasssss
They released the new song!
'This moment' shows their different colors!
Request from Japan
Brilliant. Iconic ladies.
They sound A LOT like Lonesome_Blue for those of you know! This song and band sound strong AF

It's a miracle that Wakazaemon and Yuki are in the same band.
it' s incredible
I have the mini album I got from JPU records.

When is the full-costume Lady Gaga cover video coming out, Eric?

Wakazaemon Wakazaemon Wakazaemon!
WOW What is in the Japanese Mothers Milk and Water and Food that they are all so Talented W.T.F.
Did you recognize Yuki from D-Drive?
We talked about it on our podcast
Yes, she is a very talented ...and a well-known guitarist is Japan. She is my favouirte guitarist with Midori & Miyako from Lovebites.
It just barely kisses power metal kind of like Aldious does (even though Aldious call themselves a power metal band). If it was actual power metal I'd be out the door. This is pretty cool and anything with Yuki is probably going to be solid.
yo editor - "girl/woman" would be more optimal words for the title here. love y'all

It seems that the vocals are the most highly rated?
I'm sorry but the way ya'll just gravitate towards "all female Japanese bands" as you worded it is just weird man lol
We don't, and the title is to get people to click, Your algorithm must set you up to see only these videos hmmmm
それに何の問題が?日本は女性に優しい国だよ。女性蔑視もないしね。女性が自由に活動できるだけであって、強制も何にもないよ。上手な女性が自由にバンド組んでやってるだけだよ。
