Marsha, I love that you are sewing and that you are giving yourself some grace to learn/relearn the process!! You are such a sweet crafter. I love that you are willing to try things and share those things with us!! I love your bunny! Your first Luna Lapin bunny...you made her out of love, mistakes and all!! I am so glad you are enjoying getting back into sewing. Once I get into my own place and have more space I plan to get back into sewing and so many other crafts I have been wanting to try!! Enjoy the journey and your weekend!! Hugs!
Thank you! Your words of encouragement are so kind and very touching. 🥰 I hope you can get to crafting soon. When my kids were small and lived in a small home, the family table was my craft corner and my homeschool classroom. Have a great weekend! 🤟🏻
Hi Marsha, your bunnies are adorable! Welcome to the wonderful world of Luna Lapin and I’m delighted that my videos and sewalongs helped you get started. I truly appreciate the mention and link to my channel. Happy stitching 🥰
Thank you for showing your sewing journey. I am going to relearn sewing next year - this year I am trying to focus on learning crochet. Your bunnies are adorable 🥰
Such cute bunnies. I use the shoes for my crochet toys too . There are many marking pens for your fabric but I use it mainly on cotton so test them on fabrics before you use it. Also if it is a wet erasable pen don't use an iron because that will make the markings permanent., I like to use the heat erasable pens. I especially love that you gave her pearls❤ I want to make the Tilda omne, so glad you are linking the tutorial. I believe the Tilda website has a lot of free patterns. Hurray to another sewing friend🤗
Thank you! I will have to try the heat pen. Yes, Tilda and friends, there is a cow with cute overalls, a bear, and a mouse. I talked about it in my 1st video take.😊 Have a great weekend!🥰
Hi. I love your bunnies and I have two of luna lapis books, so I need to make my some bunnies. I really love the tilda Easter bunny too. Thanks for the tip about not over stuffing. Take care x❤x
You did a great job making your first Luna Lapin, she's gorgeous,I love the fabric you've used for her dress. The foot pads are really hard to get neat so its not you. It's a bit addictive making the CoolCrafting animals I've been making the duckling today😊 (it was me who made the donkey). The Tilda bunnies are cute too I've not made any of the Tilda toys before I didn't know they did free patterns I will have a look. Thanks for sharing ❤ xx
I think I would love to sew toys! My sewing machine is in our crate (from South Africa) right now, but I will definitely download the free pattern and give it a go. Thanks for sharing. Love Bertie & Ruth & Tilda...they are beautiful!
Thank you! I look forward to seeing your sewn toys. Luna is meant to be hand-sewn. I may try it one day. Welcome back to the States. Thank you for stopping by. 🥰
Hi Marsha, I love how your Luna Lapins turned out🥰! I have the first 3 books in my digital library and have not had the chance to try any of the patterns out just yet. But after watching your video, well . . . there's a heavy itch going on, just so you know 😅. Also, thank you so much for sharing Claire England's channel with us because I too, am trying to learn how to build my sewing skills, especially when it comes to doll making. I'm always on the lookout for resource channels to help me do just that and Claire is wonderful❤! BONUS that she speaks with an English accent, because I am a SUCKER for accents 🤣. So thanks again Marsha! Absolutely love your channel and your personality😊, keep up the great work and thank you always for sharing.
Hey! Thank you! I appreciate all your kind words and am happy the video helped. I enjoy sewing toys, and I think you will enjoy making dolls. Check out the Cool Crafting’s site. They have a Mae Loveday doll. I know!! I love accents! Have a great week, and thank you for stopping by! www.coolcrafting.co.uk/product-category/luna-lapin-and-friends/shop-by-character/mae-loveday-doll/
I am not sure if this would work on felt but an erasable pen works on fabric, to mark it up. You just have to iron it and it disappears. On the rounded arm I would just place a warm iron on the spot where you see the markings.
