I as a regular trying to see and wait when Simone would pop up, kept posting saying 'Simone last time we seen her before the cold weather came she looked nine months pregnant and had a difficult time trying to climb up to the bird feeder. Something was holding her weight down and she did look huge like something was in her tummy. Fast forward, we got a lovely surprise. Simone" Hello fans I'm back to visit Patrick and show off my new babies. I was in the nursey nursing my babies". 👶👶👶👶
So adorable!!! I love their multi-colored ears and their baby fuzz! They are so cute and energetic! Poor Simone, she's going to have her paws full with four little playful and curious critters to manage!

Wow! Two visits in the same day. Simone has obviously missed you. She looks so good! Her coat is pristine and in contention to Ruby’s title. Lol Those cubs also look so happy and healthy. Simone is a wonderful mama. Hard to identify a runt amongst them. The first post you shared from your neighbor I just knew it was her. Her saunter, tags, just her aura. Well now she has confirmed for us all. TY uncle Patrick for allowing us to sit on the porch with you. That little brown face has had me puzzled too since I first saw it. He is too cute. And a bit cheeky. Lol. Idk why but I keep thinking that his/her name should be Cinnamon. Just my opinion. Always enjoy your well maintained lawn and rhodies. Here in the PNW we’ve had winter until this week and then got summer. Everything living here has been greatly confused. Lol Looking forward to seeing the family grow! Thanks again. I was noticing the same thing in the previous videos from the neighbor about how beautiful and shiny her coat is, and how it looks more like Ruby's coat! This is the prettiest I've ever seen Simone💗 Her beautiful, shiny coat (and the fact that she had been out of hibernation for so long and in the neighborhood, but hadn't been to Pat's Porch yet) was the only reason(s) I thought that might not be her in the neighbor's videos.

It’s hilarious how she walks off without them! You can practically hear her say, “I am leaving!” You realize how moms are moms and kids are kids! So precious!
Looking at Simone here compared to the recent up close sniff sniff video she’s already losing condition. Must be hard feeding four cubs? Plus isn’t there something rangers can leave for the itches . All the bears have terrible patches on them and scratch like crazy. Do bears get parasites like fleas as our cats/dogs do? Sorry for the dumb questions we don’t have bears?
I LOVE the relationship between Simone and Patrick... so much trust and respect from both sides. To the point where she trusts Patrick around her cubs ❤🧡💛🐻🧸🧸🧸🧸
It has nothing to do with trust. Black bears do not defend cubs, and will take cubs around other living things without getting angered. Defending cubs is something only brown bears do. No other bears have the trait of defending cubs. There has been several studies on this, and they have even tried to provoke black bears into defending their cubs, and they never did. Their is even an article from some animal experts you could find online where they tried everything to get a wild black bear to defend her cubs, and finally they thought if they simply picked the cub up it might happen. So they picked the cubs up and they started screaming, and the mom did nothing. Then they went out and repeated it with several other black bears, and got the same result. Black bears simply do not defend cubs.
