If you compare the x7 with the gls, which one has more performance, how it is used in the city, how the traction is strong, which one impressed you more when you hit the gas and which one is more comfortable and has better insulation?
GLS is faster but acceleration is fairly linear when floored unlike in the X7 where you are pushed back into the seat; comfort wise both are neck to neck offering 6 seater configuration in X7 and 7 seater in the GLS, both have all the seat adjustments and neither comes with seat cooling or heating function in 30d DPE signature and 400d variant; insulation wise X7 is the winner, it comes with dual pane windows, more silent on the inside and lesser road noise, GLS comes with like 1½ pane windows and more road noise compared to the former. Overall X7 is the winner in my opinion and vfm but GLS doesn't fails to impress. Also engine on the X7 is more refined and sounds like a petrol and sporty, GLS sounds like typical Diesel engine when pushed hard.
Is it bigger to drive in comparison to x7 ? cause i have driven the gle and x5 side by side and gle definitely fells way bigger to drive so is it the case in gls also?
Yes, GLS was the largest suv sold in India in terms of dimensions until the defender 130 was launched. So X7 is slightly easier to manoeuver. Also better visibility behind the wheel than the GLS.
