Let's actually be real. The reason why stepping on a lego is so painful is because it's a singular lego. Stepping on a cluster of them still hurts, but not as much as stepping on 1. If they placed 1 lego and seperated them 2 inches apart each, NOW THAY is a challenge worth telling about

This would be the same as the bed of nails effect I believe, wouldn't it? The biggest reason stepping on a lego hurts is because the sharp edges are so raised up from the rest of the floor, but if the floor is entirely legos, the peaks and valleys will be closer together on average. A much better torture would be like 50% hardwood and 50% legos. This is much like how you can lay on a dense bed of nails with tips up easily , but if you reduce the number of nails by like 75%, it's gonna stab you.
