Very cool.your lessons are great,but I also really dig these history videos. Love to see Memphis in a 55. My daughter's name is also Abigail. Awhile back we took that drive to the heartbreak hotel. Never would have known it existed without your video.

Cool video. I did a similar road trip Memphis visit with my own daughter years ago checking out some of the historical parts of town.
One little extra note - Elvis also had another barber, it was Jim's Barber Shop run by a black American and that was located not far from that same Beale Street area. While Jim catered primarily to other black Americans in the community, Elvis and his father went there regularly for their haircuts.
There are photos on Google of Elvis in there getting his haircut at Jim's.
Unfortunately I believe that building is no longer still there
