- Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell delivers remarks following the Federal Reserve's two-day policy meeting on Wednesday.
The Federal Reserve kept interest rates at the current target range of 4.25% to 4.5% at the conclusion of their January meeting, but policymakers warned that inflation remains “somewhat elevated.” The pause comes after the central bank cut rates three consecutive times to end 2024.
Powell’s comments remain key for investors this time, as they search for clues on what’s next for rate policy after this pause.

Most of those Fed dollars are bank reserves, which are now useless. Because banks found a way to get around reserve requirements decades ago.

Anyways, you must be new to biz or borrowing, because again…any real CEO can see rates are near norms. Building a biz model that is reliant on 2-3% rates when EVERYONE knows those numbers are artificially low is your fault. Just saying
