Hi, I am having a hard time understanding why surface profile is used but not flatness?can you elaborate more on this? Many Thanks ! I learnt alot from your videos !
surface profile with datum is to control distance (or control surface position). Flatness can not control position (flatness can not have datum).
why not use modifier P--project for this issue?
you are right. could be one of the solution. This video is trying to explain: datum selection is based on function.
