  • A song about how Trump brings up the worst in us. In Greenland we have an ancient tradition of the Tupilaq. I hate to even want to summon one... It only brings hate online and devides, please just don't - is what the song is about.
    "You bring monsters to life"
    (Verse 1)
The wind sings through the frozen sea,
    A whisper carried endlessly.
    Ancient mountains, ice and stone,
This is our heart, this is our home.
    (Verse 2)
You come with gold, you come with greed,
You do not hear, you do not heed.
You speak of deals, of claims, of trade,
But you don’t know the price we’ve paid.
    (Verse 3)
A shadow moves beneath the tide,
The old ones watch with steadfast pride.
The spirits rise, their voices sing,
The land still stands through everything.
    (Verse 4)
The ice is old, the night is deep,
The voices call me in my sleep.
They whisper tales of blood and bone,
Of land that’s ours, of seeds we’ve sown.
    (Verse 5)
I fear the thing I could create,
The tangled bones, the twisted hate.
The dead should rest beneath the tide,
Yet still they stir, yet still they cry.
    (Pre outro)
The ice is cracking under me,
cold hands are reaching through the sea.
I whisper names I swore to hide,
but now they rise-stand by my side.
The bones awake, the shadows call,
a twisted shape begins to crawl.
Its hollow eyes reflect my face-
am I the curse I tried to chase?
    (Outro)
I pull my hands back, break the spell,
but something lingers, I can tell.
The beast is watching, so am I,
I see its rage, I hear its cry.
I do not want to be like you,
to take, to break, to claim, undo.
So leave, before the ice runs red,
    before the monster wakes instead.
