Being a guy from the south and transplanted when I was young I actually understood everything Yella and Twista said. I started listening to Twista, Tech, and any more artists from back in the day when I was in high school on the late 90’s. Hell, I have all of Tech’s albums on CD still to this day.
Tech is his own percussion lol, 10:30 check out the melancholy maze it's not really a song, but he raps without instrumentals and supplies his own percussion through cadence and hands it's dope af for an interlude and is exactly what your talking about.
