We have over 5 coats of primer on the car. Well over 2 gallons in fact. It doesn’t matter whether you prime first then do filler or fill first then primer. As long as you leave enough “teeth” for adhesion, you will be fine.
Spot on with addressing negative comments. Remember, these guys get satisfaction in finding flaws. Your work looks good man.
