Thank you SO MUCH! I'm so grateful to have found someone in the UK who can give me a list of products we can get here! Looking forward to exploring your channel
Just found you today a uk based pourer. When I heard the accent I said yes yes , when you said b and q I almost lost my mind. Subscribed straight away . Lol.😊
Is your pouring medium rate is 50 50 or the same rate with pva glue and water?im in uk too northwest so we can get the same products instead struggling with american products...subscribed 👍
This is great! Thanks for posting. I'm not clear on exactly what you used to activate the cells - was it the blow torch or the ink? or the the other stuff - it's not really clear. Would like to know.
hi from sunny south africa.. am new to pouring but loving it. is the make of paint what results in the cells? most of the brand u use aren't available here.. am really struggling to make cells.. help
Hi Niki 👋 The make of the paint does make a difference... But test the paints you have got as you will have paints that I haven't even tried yet, so just experiment with them and mix just a little bit so as not to waste paint. It does need to be a highly pigmented paint and opaque rather than a transparent.
So lovely to have found you, and UK based too . Im just learning, so can I please ask you about the valspar emulsion. Is there anything special about this emulsion, does it have acrylic in it or would any emulsion do. Thank you x
There is nothing particularly special about the Valspar emulsion, all emulsion has acrylic in it, so really it's just whichever one works best for you. I know a lot of people have their favourites, so if you have any already, just give it a try... Also ask friends and family if they have any leftover emulsion paints, that way you can try out a few different ones to see which one you prefer without it costing you a fortune.
@@TillyDouglas Thank you so so much for the reply Tilly. Can I ask another question regarding the emulsion. You say all emulsion has acrylic in it, so could you possibly use it alongside different colours of acrylic paints, rather than just use it for the base paint? and does it make you painting smell? lol
@@TillyDouglas Oh wow, I had no idea about all the emulsions, and at least there is no smell once dried. I know that B&Q do sample pots of acrylic paints which are quite cheap and have some really nice colours. I have been slowly building up a supply of acrylic paints etc. Thank you so much again Tilly. I hope you don't mind me asking question. Thank you again
In my humble opinion you ain,t going to get any better than what you getting keeping it simple, save your dosh by not falling in to the Floetrol nightmare,Floetrol is 90% water!!! I can stay drunk for a week on what it costs,The joy of getting old! your pictures are a joy ta.
Be careful Rosy, it’s very addictive! Lol but lots of fun! I’m just about to upload my latest pour, but I very nearly had a disaster with it when I nearly tipped it all over! 😳 xx
Tilly Douglas gosh, isn’t all craft addictive, I remember starting with 1 12x12 box of stuff for scrapbooking & then having enough equipment to open my own club...so I did ha!
I hope you lovely people are having a great time,Please have a look at "chase fluid art" on RUclips, as well he makes nice pictures like Tilly, bless you all.

@@TillyDouglas you are welcome! I look forward to watching many more of your videos.
Lovely... was it the liquitex ink that activated the cells ?
Thank you Tina! No, it's just the Amsterdam paint and water that makes the cells. 🌹
This is really gorgeous. Love , love , love💕
Thank you so much! 🌹
Smashing,well done.
Thank you very much Roger!
Very nice
Thank you Brenda!
the ink you use, is it the alcohol base one or the acrylic one? thanks.
Wow! That turned out really nice. I have to go try it now. Greetings from a fellow Brit living in Canada.
Hello fellow Brit! Thank you so much, I hope you have lots of fun creating!
Thank you for this video. What can you use if you don’t want black in your pour.
You're welcome Margo! In my experience, any colour of Amsterdam opaque paint works really well. 🌹

@@TillyDouglas Thanks Tilly. Unfortunately we don’t get Amsterdam paints here but I’ll try and find a substitute. 🌷

Hi Tilly I've looked for this paint being sold on eBay £60😱 has b&q change the label 🤔 xxo ❤️
Hi Julie, I just looked on the b&q website and they have the Valspar emulsion (same label) for £20 for 10 litres ... They also do smaller tubs. 🌹 💜

There are quite a few people that create paintings using just emulsion paints and have fantastic results! Once the paint is dry, it doesn't smell. 🌹
