Use a picklock 3 of them, space's sufficient that curve up, if you feel something going up, the position is correct then direct another picklock in and repeat.
This is actually a style of lock they were using for thousands of years, dating back to before the greeks. It was pretty effective for a slab of wood for basic security
You are using a Lego brick lock. It can be opened using a Lego brick lock. -McNally, probably
😂
Thats onder every video
I swear I read this in his voice
I thought that this would be that type of video XD
I was honestly waiting for the stitch 😂

Not the OLD iPhone unlock sound 💀💀💀
very cool😊

MasterLock: “Uh, should we be worried that a Lego builder made a better lock than us?”
That lock is as old as the pyramids.
@@KevinShapland.Australia-xx8bsthat just made his point kore solid
@@KevinShapland.Australia-xx8bs somehow better than a master lock
The true size & shape is not of Lego block type, but does give a true mapping of the lock & key workings.
Antiladro si, adesso scusatemi, ma vado a comprarmi una porta il lego XD
"This is the Lockpicking Lawyer, and today I have something special for you guys!"

That keyway is massive, big flaw for the security of this locking mechanism
That's a 2000 old aah lock, it will be damn sure unsafe
It's an example. Not accurate. It's meant to give you a basic understanding.
I understand it's an example Infact it is an excellent example of what not to do in a lock design
@@DryMexagonNo, it is accurate. All old locks can be opened with a skeleton key.

Still better than most Master Locks
an open door is better security than a mastetlock

"Hello there, this is lock picking lawyer and you're using a lego brick lock. It can be opened by a random branch that I found in the street"
The amount of clicking is so satisfying.
but the unlocksound at the end nearly kills your ears
To pick this without damage, just use a key with springs to align with the pins
Or just flip it upside down then the pins will slide lmfao
erme rm 🤓 you cant flip a door thats attached to a doorframe that is attached to a wall

The last one wouldn't have worked either if it were too long. You just need to find the right lock for your key
Didn't know ancient people use Lego to build their lock
Maybe they used ancient Legos?
Im sure the too short one has a great personality 💀💀💀
This had no right to be so funny 😂

My guy, you should be making ASMR with this. It sounds amazing, man. ❤🎉🎉
I didn't know lego dates back to the ancient times! Good company for lasting so long 🥰🥰🥰
McNally is going to go on a field trip with this one
Ngl that last one was yellow enough that I immediately thought of Mickey's Keyblade in Kingdom Hearts
Finally, a fellow Kingdom Hearts fan.
I can see the pins, a huge oversight in this lock’s design
"Too short"
That's what she said.
didn’t know lego was an ancient way of using locks
For those wondering, yes they had legos thousands of years ago and made these ancient locks
Masterlock taking notes lol
If this is a good representation of historic locks, its no wonder breakins back in the anchiant world was so common

@@Doi- sorry I'm dislexic
This would have been more satisfying if you _didn't_ add a noisy "click" sound effect when you put in the working key.
I love this series. Can you do wafer locks or disc-detainer locks next?

It’s easier to “pick” than modern day pin-tumbler locks

It’s amazing because if you think about it, this is essentially the same way they work today, we’ve just added a few other components.
Didnt know they had Lego in ancient times you always learn something new

Best short ive seen today
Ah yes the ancient Lego set! I remember this from my travels to the Serengeti
I’ve played oblivion to know where this is going
The unlocking sound is basically the default iPhone unlock ringtone.
In other words, exactly the same way we still make most locks to this day.
That explains the lockpicking minigame in Oblivion.
