Hello Mrs Hill 😁👋 Sorry I missed your live yesterday!🙁 With regard to rental history, I have none since before getting married, only my wife’s name is on the rental agreement, but we’ve jointly paid the rent. What about that with regard to reporting rent payment history when buying an house?🙂
If you haven't rented prior to buying a home you will just have to explain that. You don't have to have rental history to buy a house, but if you did rent prior they don't want to see late payments. However, there are a lot of people that have gone straight from living with parents to buying a home. You will be fine. Thanks for watching
There were some compensation changes made this year, now buyers are required to have a written agreement in place that includes compensation to the buyers agent. The sellers can still contribute, but it is no longer advertised. I have a playlist that includes 3 videos explaining.
Honestly I am not sure, but you don't have to have rental history to buy, but you can't have a negative rental history. So they will likely just ask you to explain where you have lived prior.
Taxes returns are not a requirement of mortgages, but they may pull your transcript to make sure you don't owe taxes. There are "bank statement" loans that lenders offer, often to entrepreneurs. They have higher down payment and interest rate requirements. Thanks for watching
