Making History is my favorite because of the Apollo parts. BUT i wouldn't be able to make a foldable lunar rover on the side of my Lem without robotic parts, so yeah, they both have great stuff
But what do you think is the best time to buy both dlc's? I mean is it not so good when I buy it at the start of the game? I played already the trainings and I am in carrier mode, but Idk..
im gonna make an early guess and say breaking ground, it just makes traveling interplanetary easier and gives the possibility of unlimited range with the feature that it can mine ore from the ground to make fuel, though i do admit making history does add some REALLY useful parts such as the vostok style cockpits and 5m diameter parts but breaking ground just seems so much more practical to me edit: dammit
Tbh I only bought both dlc's because I was too lazy to download it every time from a friend when I switch versions (definetly from a friend dont question)
i personally like making history because i am notorious for being terrible at moderation so being able to put 5 engines instead of one with massive fuel supplies is great for me without making the leaning rocket of kerbin.
"Making History" gives you engine plates, and several engines that are objectively better than other engines in their price range. I get a kick out of improving my rockets incrementally in career mode - squeezing a few more tons of payload out of them, or shaving off a few thousand funds off the launch cost - and I consistently build better rockets with the DLC engines.
With the mods that I use, making history 5 meter parts have become kinda redundant, but I still use them of course. The best thing is the wolfhound for sure though. I'm playing with SMURFF and RSS and it's basically a vacuum raptor (I have cryo engines but I need the vernier rcs thrusters)
I got the bundle when it was on sale for 20$ usd so it was a good deal and it’s both doc unlike the one doc most bundles have so I don’t need to worry about this dlc that doc you know.
i think its breaking ground because it features robotic parts that is very useful if you want to make like a custom landing legs or a rotating space station wheel, but i have both dlcs
Breaking ground makes so many things that were once absolute pains to create super simple, and omg the KAL controller has to be my favorite part in the game. I can program a suicide burn that would be executed exactly the same every time, or a super complex yet satisfying folding sequence, not to mention the fun and absolutely broken exploit that is KAL overclocking engines
@@travisfoster3460 its a part from the breaking ground dlc You can program parts with it, for example, you can use it to throttle an engine a specific way with the push of a button. But you can set values over 100% and below 0%
I remember thinking the round command pods were the best. Then I never used them lol Best do in my opinion is the em drive mod with procedural battery lol
Squad basically expects you to pay for mods. Some of the stuff is critical, like engine plates and 5m stages and should really be in the base game. But nope, Squad which still can't even put a proper aerodynamic system in the game wants the $$$

I have both dlcs, I kinda think that breaking ground is the best one
Same.
i have got ksp as u said also with the both dlcs
Same
But what do you think is the best time to buy both dlc's? I mean is it not so good when I buy it at the start of the game? I played already the trainings and I am in carrier mode, but Idk..
pretty popular opinion especially after the hate for making history
it had a buggy mission creater and a few new parts

edit: dammit
ISRU isn’t part of a dlc, it’s in the base game
Mining ore is the base game I believe
@@15gamershaven89 it is, but deployable science isn't
Also who needs to *mine* for fuel when you can just set an engine to a negative thrust level with the KAL controller and get free fuel
breaking history and making ground
Bruh

Oh so u had cracked dlcs bruh

i have both but i almost don't use making history

the random soviet anthem start placement in the video is so good
I, personally, get KSP complete edition, a bundle including the game its self and BOTH dlc
that was like a full video essay on ksp! great video
I have both of them and I like breaking ground more because it gives you more creativity when creating stuff
Loved the vid! Ima see if I can get both for all the benefits

In my opinion the both DLC's are cool and useful
People see this video because they have limited money and want to choose which to buy first.
Piolet and I bet on this video. So it better get 20k views or I’m gonna lose money #paymepiolet

if there on sale and they often are just buy them both there both fun and great
Making history
New engines, High engine ISP’s, 1.8 / 5 meter diameter parts. Etc.
Both, Because Breaking Ground has awesome science and robotic things and Making History has more parts, It also has Mission feature
When i got the the dlc i made torture missions such as impossible duna mission that makes part fail sometimes and walk to the north pole
Wait making history did not make those landing legs! Did they?
What can I say: ksp 2 is the best dlc
I don't think thats a dlc.
is it? :)
Hehe the irony

Ngl, I just bought both. Got both 50 percent off too lol
