I have basically drawn templates in Inventor for tee and wye fittings made from sheet metal... diameters up to about 48 inches. The lengths of the bodies and the intersecting branches change based upon the pipe diameter needed. I have a matrix in Excel that shows what these dimensions are for each pipe diameter. How can I link my inventor file to my Excel matrix so that if I want an 18-inch wye, I just select the 18-inch version and the model will update to the dimensions that are listed in the matrix for 18-inch?

Hello. After linking an excel sheet to my ipt, is it possible to add more parameters into the sheet? I have tried this, but when I update my ipt the parameters I just added in Excel doesn't appear in my Inventor list of parameters.

Hello! Yes, when you add parameters to the linked Excel file the part should show these new parameters in the parameter table. What version of Inventor and what version of Excel are you using?

Well, we can start with the knowledge that this SHOULD work and take it from there. Is it only the act of adding parameters that does not work? What about updating parameter values? Do the new values show in the Inventor parameter table after saving the Excel file and updating the Inventor part file? Also, when you created the Excel link, did you choose to "Embed" or "Link" to the Excel file?
