Almost sounded like you were just getting tired of watching buddy load your truck. The first part where he was squeezing that big peice in was looking like the ol bunks were gonna break. Or something was gonna go wrong. And the longer the content the better
big logs are always fun to try and squeeze, roll, drop, wiggle to get them to look like a decent load, only to then have to start all over again when yer over height or didn't see the one on the bottom not all the way on the bunks...

Where ya hauling poplar to? Is there an osb plant on the island now? I hauled cottonwood to Scott Paper in New Westminster in the day. They paid $26 a meter so the logging was free.
I think your loader would have done the job.... I know the struggle though, when the loader is a little on the weaker side, how's that loader compare to a Vangaurd 1028? so far all I've run is Olympic and Vangaurd.
