I have found sunlight to be one of the most beneficial things I can do in my day. With winter coming, get all you can people!

Absolutely! And depending on where folks are located, just be careful if its hot out cos that can trigger our MCAS. If you are sensitive to heat and/light getting sunlight at dusk or dawn is best!

Do hearing daily affirmation RUclips video helpful? Also, whats your suggestions about Wim hoff cold bath and breathing techniques?

Personally I don't love daily affirmation. Cognitions (i.e. what we say to ourselves) is not going to override the nervous system to saying "I am safe" without cueing your body for safety is a waste of time. I do love the cold bath, that is a great way to calm the vagus nerve, and if you have long covid go VERY gently with cold water, start with 15 seconds cold at the end of your shower and build up to actually getting into a cold bath (Wim Hoff is fabulous but his approach is a little aggressive for us). Breathing can be useful but many of us have lung damage and so find it very hard. If that's you don't worry and don't force yourself. Its also worth noting if we come from trauma, breathing will bring up a lot of emotion and our bodies may not be ready to handle that yet. So again go very gently.

Before getting covid in July 2022 (work function), I was diagnosed with vagus bradycardia in 2019, and MV in 2021. I take an antidepressant for panic attacks (previous condition) for CPTSD - on of the side effects is an increase in bp, this has been quite a beneficial side effect. My average resting HR has gone from my usual 48 to 64 :-). One of my sequelae post covid syndrome tag alongs is severe POTS, the hypovolemic tachycardia type. I'm at a loss to find any self care therapies to assist this confusing bunch of elements. I've charted around 98 symptoms of long covid itself - aside from the above. What are your thoughts?

I think there’s a max of 211 symptoms documented so you’re not out of ordinary there. Neither are you with anything else you describe. Watch the rest of my channel especially videos on trauma and learning and befriending your nervous system.

@@delitecreative If you are talking about Polyvagal strategies (sometimes referred to as somatic practices) I love them, use them a lot, talk about them all over this channel, in my book and my course. If you are talking about the one where you move your head left and right and wiggle your ears I share my thoughts on that here ruclips.net/video/oHEqfIDAAeM/видео.htmlsi=4lgwHnDWodgIV1WL
