I will also start to record the console version soon and try to release both playthroughs at the same time Update 1 (10/30/22): Midnight LA remix is done both careers have been recorded Update 2 (11/2/22): Midnight Club LA remix is done and edited Update 3 (11/3/22): I have order a capture card so soon I will be able to start recording the console version soon Update 4 (11/6/22): midnight club la on console is fully done and recorded. All that is left to do is edit the video though it might be a while since console version is a massive video which is almost 20 hours unedited. Update 5 (11/7/22): Both playthrough are done and 100% and area also fully edited so hopefully the playthrough will be up by some next week as of 11/7/22
Thanks and this was a game I enjoy a lot since I was kid and I remember this game giving my ps2 hard time reading the disc but it could read the non remix edition perfectly fine. I am not sure when but I do plan on doing midnight club la both on psp and console version in the future I just need to find someway to record the console version

Lol I think their rubber banding goes under the radar because when people talk about rubberbanding they always talk about older nfs games but I rarely ever hear anyone mention about the cops in mc3. The rubberbanding these cops are borderline insane it makes the older nfs games look tame

The only thing you won’t see completely finish from start to finish is the Tokyo races but thing about that mode is the races you do in that area end up being in the tournament anyway so I might as well cut some of the Tokyo races out.
Damn man respect. I tried playing it on pcsx2 and just rage quitted in the very beginning, on the tuners tournament, they were just too fast and it was unafir. I don't know how i was able to complete almost full game as a kid. Also respect for using manual transmisson. Cheers
honestly most of this game's difficulty comes from you being at a disadvantage not the Ai's skills, the moment you match the Ai's performance they are not challenging compare to trying to complete club events early in career mode
Unpopular Opinion: Of all the racing games I've played this one hands down has the worst Rubberbanding I've ever seen in a racing game, even worse than NFS Underground
I think the rubberbanding is bad is when you are trying to do the club races early instead of later unlike like underground 1 where no matter how much performance you put you can still lose but in midnight club the moment you hit same level performance as the Ai and the game has no room to bump them up to another class or two ahead of you the game becomes a breeze. That’s how I see the rubberbanding in this game Plus in underground 1 the Ai can reach speed and grips levels a human cannot pull off even if you try to drive perfectly

I am not officially running this game in 60fps. If you watch other channels that has the 60 fps patch you’ll notice their gameplay looks smoother than mines. From what I heard it can sometimes break things if you can’t get the game to run 60fps all the time

I never played midnight club street racing but I did played the 2nd one and I posted it months ago. But since the videos were split into two parts and there was video quality inconsistencies I might redo it in the future. Since I know a method to get better quality videos. I decided to check my crash nitro kart gameplay and the video looks really blurry compare to what I have today so I might redo that as well.
@@Nooo1 if GTA trilogy did not do same bad and then went with a MCLA remaster I could see them doing this game. The only issue is a lot of companies are relying remasters to make money instead of new games. I get using a remaster as a way to see if there is a audience for that IP but constantly remaster games when its unnecessary only further ruins the word remaster in the game industry
I wish but this game is filled with copyright music. There is already one but that song plays in Cutscenes and no matter you turn off the music or not it will still play bits and pieces of the song. Back then I did play underground 1 and had on my channel with the music but the moment it was up it was blocked in multiple countries to point the video wasn’t viewable anymore so I don’t want to risk the same thing happening to this video.
Not really there more like listed by car club types the game offers. The last one has a car listed as a time stamp but I wanted that to be a 100% career mode finished car as in finish both Tokyo and story career mode

That never came into my mind because I am used to playing several ps2 on the emulator like that. If this game had an official pc port than it will be a different story. All I care was if the game run good and there were not lag spikes or anything like that and also made sure the video quality looks watchable and not look like a blurry mess. Most or all pc games I have I will see if there is a wide screen patch or not but with emulators that tends to be a hit or miss since certain settings can break the game or created unwanted imagine results.

Back I used to be a lot more mindful when choosing a car and customizing it but now at least in older games I just take a car and put as much performance parts as I can into one car. This was originally supposed to be a 12 hour video but due to RUclips new video limit I had to cut some Tokyo races out

So I when played the regular of MC3 it felt very off to me since I grew up with the remix version so much. The car might not be the fast starter car but I start off with a lot more money compare to other starter cars
