Post-Match Commentary :
China new coach - Cai Bin onboard. He led Shanghai women team in 90s to win 5 consecutive league champions. He was only be the head coach for 2009 and then changed to another coach (twice in 2010). 2009-2012 cycle China changed 3 coaches. This China team used a lot of old players from Chen Zhonghe era including #1 Li Juan (28yo, 1.87m), #2 Xue Ming (22yo, 1.93m), #4 Xu Yunli (22yo, 1.96m). #5 Ma Yunwen (23yo, 1.89m), #10 Wang Yimei (21yo, 1.9m), #11 Wei Qiuyue (21yo, 1.82m). New players used included #8 Hui Ruoqi (18yo, 1.89m), #12 Yin Na (20yo, 1.82m). This Chinese squad changed #10 to play as opposite hitter. The coach decided to copy what European teams did but it was a failure. Asian style with tactics and running attacks all gave up....#10 changed back to outside hitter in 2010. The outside hitter #1 was very weak in power and #12 was really short. Germany with some new players in the team. #15 Maren Brinker (23yo, 1.84m), #7 Heike Beier (26yo, 1.84m). 2nd pass was #2 Kathleen Weiß (25yo, 1.71m). Opposite hitter #16 Margareta Kozuch (23yo, 1.87m). Middle position was Corina Ssuschke (26yo, 1.89m), #9 Berit Kauffeldt (19yo, 1.9m). In 1st set, it appeared all the ball was passed to position #2 to score by Germany. China unable to defence but they stated making errors after the 1st timeout. It was 5 set match and both teams played no good.
