I didn't even notice the silver belt thing until I got them home. It doesn't bother me much though. What does bother me is how a lot of times the left leg of these figures will be permanently bent due to how they're packaged in the box. Also the lack of weapons is lame. I'm with you in wishing they'd just make the Megazords separate so we could have weapons. As it is, I just have them with some spare MOTU Classics weapons from a weapons back. I don't have a proper bow for pink though. It'd be nice if some third party company made weapons for them or something.
I'm not sure if this is old news for you or not but bruno was able to confirm that we're not getting any fixes on the white belts. Either way, great review! Were the joints on your figures ratcheted at all like in the elbows, knees, and shoulders? I'm not sure if that was a running change or if you didn't happen to take note of them.
New Girl references FTW! As a collector of Marvel Legends and DC Multiverse lines and with their Build-A-Figures, I have to agree on the poor choice of distribution. I like the variety of Rangers we get per wave on one hand and while it makes some sense to include the Megazord pieces with its corresponding series, I feel like you take away so much immediate fun from that. The terrible choices in accessories are also really hurting my interest in this line as well. I hope the line doesnt get cancelled as the figures do look very very nice indeed, but they could also be done so much better as well.
I agree. While I personally would like to see them just release whole teams I can see why they do it in one way. I also don't think I would have much of a problem with the mixed team waves if they weren't already asking what teams they should do next even thought the haven't finished the ones they started. It doesn't help that the fandom is shrieking for Psycho rangers all the time. They really should just have all the Megazord pieces match though. I can't think of another build-a-figure line that makes you wait 2-3 waves to complete one.
DosmRider personally these figures are awsome. and some of the best in this scale, and they way they are releasing them is fine with me it's the thrill of the hunt, since I'm only going for certain figures, if they release all the psycho rangers then I'll get all those, other than that I think everyone needs to stop complaining.
They're not going to fix the belts Bruno from MMPRtoys had a meeting with someone at Bandai or Saban or whoever and they tolled him that they're not but this particular mistake is fairly small compared to this lines other problems like not the individual weapons or the female's skirts still restricting the legs a little and I also like consistency so painting the belts white real quick yourself shouldn't be too hard but I agree that this shouldn't have been messed up in the first place and we shouldn't have to do that but since the belts aren't like bright orange or really any other color, that gray isn't too bad and blends in enough because I rather them move on down the line so we can get as many rangers as we can
In their defense, these don't seem to be selling as great as they should (Especially girl figures) and rereleasing them might be a little to much of a risk and costly to rerelease 3 figures nationwide. I do agree that they are making some dumb choices, but with the belts it might not be worth it for them.
Innocent_Bystander Wait until the 25th anyversary next year. Bandai won't be able to help themselves from releasing MMPR again and if they do re-release these molds, Black, Blue and Pink will get their belts fixed. I'd be willing to put money on it. Although we might get "metallic armor" variants instead...
I really love these figures (besides the point of them not having their weapons) but I think it's dum how they are releasing the rangers in these waves too they should just have five rangers from the same team in one wave the only reason I can think of is if they did waves according to seasons that once they do a season that isn't as popular as others then it would hurt that waves sales which might lead them to canceling the line all together which hopefully doesn't happen but especially for what they have already released and have planned to release, waves four and five both come with three Zeo rangers which will complete that team which leaves four slots open now by this time Mighty Morphin (of course) is complete with all 7 rangers BUT instead of completing Ninja Storm with it's last three rangers and In Space with it's silver ranger they start Dino Thunder which will also make another team uncomplete for who knows how long and so hopefully they will finally put those four and then Dino Thunder white in wave 6 because if the sixth rangers are coming with all the weapons for their respective teams instead of a build a megazord piece that's going to already be a little over a year since we first bought the core Ninja Storm and In Space teams and them to being incomplete and without their weapons plus also with them only doing three waves a year I mean I don't know how long it takes to make these figures but all the male and female bodies respectively are the same they just have do slight remolds to the bodies team to team with new heads and weapons, the build a megazord piece I guess would take up most of their time but I think they could squeeze in one more wave a year maybe two I know the movie legacy figures are going to come out but those don't affect the regular legacy figure line so unless they plan to start a movie line (which how much could they do for line after the five rangers besides a couple of the villians that are in that movie and before the sequel) or possibly (hopefully) a villian line alongside or in between the ranger line or it will take forever to get all the rangers and teams I just really hope the legacy figures don't get cancelled especially if there's teams still not finished
Great Review! I love the Pink, Red & Yellow Rangers! actually I think I like them all expect for blue! Ok..., maybe blue too! Lol! On MMPR Toys the Channel on RUclips the Guy Bruno said he talked with Bandai & they aren't going to fix the belt problem but, that they will be Distributing Weapons to put with the figures. What we don't know is when & how? I wonder if they will release the weapons from each season in a combo pack or separately? I hope they do it separately so I don't have extra weapons for rangers I don't have because, I'm not buying more than 2 per wave that just to expensive! I also think $20 is a little to pricy already but, I can kind of understand that there Gonna need to charge more for the articulation and basically show accurate details.
Honestly I'm kind of split down the middle. They both have their good and bad points. One thing this line has going for it as far as rangers figures go though is that they are still making them.
#Dosmrider , I was also disappointed that the fandom is asking for Psycho rangers instead of complete teams. I wish the NS team was completed , also this team having one of the best designs. I hope Bandai figures out a way to release them also next year despite next year the other mystery slots have been filled by something else.
Those are the 5 inch figures though they're smaller, have less articulation, and don't come with a build a megazord piece so they're cheaper which is why they include their weapons but the legacy figures do need to come with their weapons too
Bandai said the silver belts were a factory error and they were going to fix it but since they aren't going to re-release them it was to late to
In Space better be everyone's favorite season.

The belts won't be getting fixed. MMPR toys did a video on it.
Hey, Dosm, your video description is incorrect and is from a Japancrate video.
EDIT: Description has been fixed. Props to Dosm for the fix!

I wish in space red had his spiral saber that is one of my favorite weapons of all time
The Spiral Saber is one of the best weapons in PR, Andros without it just feels wrong

they won't be fixing the belts. and wont' be re-releasing. bandai are really fucking up with some of their choices.

I wonder why Zeo and Turbo were skipped.

I've heard their not fixing the belt.
i don't get why not just release the whole team at once
also i wish they sold the megazords separately too
When do we get mmpr yellow

Old video, but do you prefer these to figuarts?
Honestly I'm kind of split down the middle. They both have their good and bad points. One thing this line has going for it as far as rangers figures go though is that they are still making them.
I want to see the thunder rangers in wave three
they will not re-release or reissue those rangers with the silver belts
#Dosmrider , I was also disappointed that the fandom is asking for Psycho rangers instead of complete teams. I wish the NS team was completed , also this team having one of the best designs. I hope Bandai figures out a way to release them also next year despite next year the other mystery slots have been filled by something else.
bro we are getting the full team of in space but you have to understand that pyshco rangers have never been done before
I sure hope they fix the belts
Is confirmed they will not Lol
You know what's worse? They're releasing 2-packs of the MMPR figures and their movie versions, but the MMPR figures include their individual weapons.
Duke Spubber those are the action hero 5inch line.
Those are the 5 inch figures though they're smaller, have less articulation, and don't come with a build a megazord piece so they're cheaper which is why they include their weapons but the legacy figures do need to come with their weapons too
supahsamurai1 it's mostly sad because the movie figures don't have weapons. Apparently only the power sword will happen
zeo better be next
Tialen Mitchell it is
along with Dino Thunder
Mick for Ninja flacid Steel confirmed
Anyone else love in space as their favorite season
I hope they release Turbo rangers
the second
