Even when the tigers were cubs they couldn’t go into the wild anyway. They were rescued from bad situations, such as a circus. They couldn’t survive in the wild on their own anymore, so Michael took care of them. It’s not the owner’s fault that they are in cages, it’s the circus’s fault for keeping them in the first place.
