I bought it online at Roja on the day of release. Elysium Eau Intense isn’t a mere Elysium flanker. It has a resemblance to Silver Mountain Water, Invictus Aqua and Mefisto. Only much, much better. And it isn’t a green scent at all. Icy and spicy. A little bit of vetiver, but amped up with black pepper, rhubarb, musk and ambergris. I remember when Sauvage came out in 2015. Everybody bashed it. Until they didn’t. The same will happen with Elysium Eau Intense. A future hall of famer. A 10/10 for me.
@@blackknightdl It’s in that same realm of icy freshness and has the Invictus-like sweetness (refined to superior niche quality) with spicy elements. I also own Elysium Cologne and Parfum. Elysium Eau Intense is only a flanker in name. As a scent it is its own type of fragrance.
@@HatovimLeTayis kinda reminds me of how bath and bodyworks Whitewater Rush smells like a mix of Fierce and Silver Mountain Water. Roja should have called it something else
@@blackknightdl Agreed. It’s an awesome scent though. I like it much more than the much hyped Isola Blu, which immediately turns into a posh Terre d’Hermès that hides on my skin within an hour. I applied a spray on each arm upon unboxing my order. Isola Blu on my right, Elysium Eau Intense on my left. When I woke up the next morning I couldn’t smell a thing on my right arm. Not even the vaguest trace of Isola Blu. But on my left arm, the drydown of Elysium Eau Intense was clearly still present.
I bought the 10ml travel spray of Elysium Eau Intense after being a big fan of Elysium Parfum Cologne and I much prefer the original over this new version. This new Intense has this rhubarb note I am not a big fan of. I could see how some people would like this new one, but not me.
Melissa I found your channel last week and I think I have binged all your videos 😂 I love your content and I’ve already ordered light blue intense and samples of salt & pepper and oud wood! I typically only wear very feminine scents but excited to try more unisex stuff!
@@Tsobe dude I tried resisting but I’m too fkn compulsive. I turned down a deal on MFK l’ homme a la rose. And the whole week all I did was browse for colognes and then I fkn caved. @@rlbnll123 my man I feel you and Ive been there almost myself but let me tell you its an never ending cycle, theres going to be always deals if you keep on browsing. We gotta appreciate what we already have and ask ourselves do we really need the new cologne
I get around 6-7 hours with Elysium, 2 hours of good performance. It has a lot of naturals so people get nose blind. A good way to test it is have 4 different fragrances on your arms and and go through the day. The brain will pick up on contrasting profiles and is a better way to understand how a fragrance is lasting. It’s like when you’re cooking very fragrant food like Indian, you pick it up initially but get blind to it..but if you leave for a few min and renter your nose picks it up again and you realize how strong it is.
This one is a masterpiece. Gets better and better and has overtaken the parfum cologne and parfum for me. This one has more depth to me where the others are strong vetiver on drydown.
Thanks for the video! We own a decent amount of overlaying fragrances so I enjoy your opinion on them. Elysium is one of my top 5 favorite scents of all time. I went ahead and ordered this based on your positive take. Looking forward to the review and versus.
I've watched youtubers who got it sent for free saying people need both ASAP. I've watched youtubers who bought it with their own money say owning both is redundant. What's your take for people who own and are happy with the OG - too similar unless you're an avid collector?
@@davidmcpoland5286 great question - I’d say maybe 60 or so percent. The florals, black pepper, and rhubarb really change it up. A true flanker really!
@@firefighteremt25 Had chance to sample it and I'd say you're spot on at 60%. I was shocked as a lot of youtubers have been saying its 80%+ similar, which is crazy to my nose. Anyway, i thought it was ok but much prefer the original, intense smells a lot more formal.
Every female opinion I got was negative. On on the cologne variant One chic said smells like pencil shavings. Perhaps my skin chemistry isn’t working. I hope this one is different on me. Definitely will sample it.
For me it's the rhubarb that is the extra prominent note in there. I actually don't like the opening of eau intense. However, once it dries down properly (up to an hour) it smells awesome in my opinion. Definitely more mature and formal. I love it!
Quick question, have you ever reviewed Greenwich Village Bond No 9? I’ve heard good things about it being tropical, musky, sweet, fresh. Would like to know your opinion on that one. Great video btw.
MARE, I GOT THE OG ELYSIUM AND IT'S AN AUOTMATIC BACK ARCHER SO I COULD ONLY IMAGINE HOW GOOD THIS JUICE IS. PEACE!!!

Under the lemon trees by Maison Margiela not MFK. Awesome review! Idk if I should go for the og elysium or this flanker.

You need to try the parfum. It’s pretty much identical to the Parfum Cologne but richer and longer lasting.
I’ve smelled different batches of the pour Homme and they smell kinda different.
Nice review and choice love the video Melissa stay motivated Dream big 1 mill on the way
Hope we get your full review soon!
Ughhhhh damnnn. I literally just dropped like a grand on more cologne I don’t need hahaha and now I’m wanting to get this one Smfh

Right?! A poet with this sh*t.

The Parfum pour Homme is unbeatable imo. It's in a league of it's own
Compare it also with MFK Gentle fluidity silver, please

Dam Roja need to give me one too, everyone seems to prefer the original
Great review! I don't love it up close but in the air it's fantastic. Still leaning towards the OG but Eau Intense lasts longer for sure
Yeah it seems they added elements I don't want in this one. Parfum is a masterpiece but its like $600 for a bottle.
Thought of your channel as soon as I saw the announcement, glad to hear your thoughts. Greener, longer-lasting Elysium honestly sounds perfect to me.
Hey I have a question nexos or tuxedo? Which is the best and why
Why’d you remove your Luke Zion rock chain vs Harlem Bling sparkle chain? 🤔
Fantastic segment
So Melissa, is Elysium eau intense a major go? Is it blind buy worthy?

I really want fragrance that have icy cool scent
Where can i find this one?
and there it is
Hi Melissa. Are you Filipino?
Why are Elysium samples so expensive?
Because they aren’t samples, they’re travel atomizers.
nice❤
This sucks so bad, no performance at all
Blue sapphire by sammy andraus is goated
Got the sample, wasent a fan of this one. To much lemon or citrus.
This is Elysium Meets BDC
This is a bit more feminine leaning
"Like" cool water, sorry…
Doesn't worth it. Smells like a designer fragrance and reminds me of Sauvage. Another boring Roja fragrance.
