Pete back in the 90's i took my wife to sunken Gardens. she loved it. we went to the Orlando area many times between 1981 and 2002 to all the theme parks. we liked it better than our kids did.my wife passed away in 2003.i truly miss her and our trips to Fla.forgive me for rambling on.
Adam, I am convinced that you could and would find they beauty in a piece of dust. An admiral trait. Stopping to smell the roses so to speak. Thank you for helping the rest of us slow down and see the beauty around us. It's everywhere!
Times like these is good to slow down and see the beauty of God’s creation. Love those big beautiful trees. It’s such a calming peaceful place to go to. Thank you for doing this video. All the people passing by it have no idea what they are missing. We need calmness during this trying time. Stay safe and stay well.
Thank you, Adam. This adventure into the forest was especially comforting today. Perhaps its maturity, but I like your narration better these days than when you started these blogs. You have a comforting voice.
I agree about the change of pace right now in the world. I feel we all needed a “reset” to slow down a bit. Adam has provided a great service for us. Just sit back and relax. Hit that thumbs up!
yes and another great thing is i have not heard one robin throughout the entire video :)) those robins can become very annoying due to the fact they start whistling from dawn to dusk and the screech whistle they make hurts my brain due to me having tinnitus . thats only one of my many disability issues . lots of little annoying disabilities .
Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts as well as your journeys. You are highly entertaining with your narrative & your positive outlook on everything is admirable. We are able to absorb the mood of adventure & solace,
As a Floridian myself, seeing live oaks, sphagnam moss, sugar sand and some palmettos really makes one feel like he's back home again. Thanks for the adventure Adam!
Thanks Adam. Your vlogs are very welcome and uplifting as always. We appreciate your continuing content. Your voice, demeanor is soothing and comforting. Thank You sir!!
I really like your moments of sage philosophy. Not overstated or pretentious. You’re a very sincere guy Adam. Glad to see this side of you. Keep on keepin’ on... 🚶🏻
This video reminds me of my youth growing up in Western Palm Beach county when it was all undeveloped. Had 3 neighbors within a one mile area and all natural scrub land, white sugar sand (what we called it)like in your video, pines, oaks and plenty of fun when I was a 10 years old. Thank you Adam for bringing back the memories.
I think that I shall never see A poem lovely as a tree. Trees by Joyce Kilmer Your video is the personification of this beautiful poem. It is a rather short, but stunning poem and would be wonderful if read aloud in the place you stood and walked today~ Thanks Adam
Our whole family enjoy watching your vlog videos. Lately the calmer posts have been a welcome distraction while we try to get our minds of the strange happenings.
Thank you for going out there and filming that. I am from the central FL area and currently in North FL. Your videos are always a treat to watch in my back patio in the mornings.
Much thanks for these last few videos Adam. I have been in a pretty dark place emotionally with everything going on. These last two videos have really helped bring some peace in an overall turbulent time.
I love those trees!!! Always wanted to go there one day...so beautiful. The only thing that kept me going and not going crazy from missing my Smoky Mountains when I lived in Orlando was the beautiful Spanish moss hanging on the trees. And Kelly state park where I got to swim with otters!!
The people who are venturing out for a little sunshine during this time are finding more appreciation for nature. I believe there will be some good that comes out of all this bad time. I had a tree like those trees (minus the Spanish moss) with the big limbs in my front yard growing up in Virginia. I didn’t have a tree house but I did have a nice swing that I used to swing up really high and jump off of and fly for a minute until I hit the ground. Lol. Oh to be a kid again. Your video brought back that memory. I was in St. Cloud a couple of weeks ago and I too was shocked by the water being gone. It looked really weird. The day I was there there was a gentleman out on what used to be the lake floor with a metal detector. Wonder if he found anything.
Yeah they're doing an environmental enrichment type thing by letting the water naturally drain, to get rid of the muck built up on the bottom. I joined the metal detecting group and they found a bunch of rings! and junk of course. Me and my dad went and found a gun - turned it in, and then found a phone at the boat ramp on the east side. Those were both firsts for me! lol.

Why are they dried up? I'm in MI. Far from that here...
