This video features the CLA45s AMG which is one of the AMG performance versions of the Mercedes CLA. My car is the 2022 CLA45s AMG Coupe but you can also get the CLA45s AMG Shooting brake or even the A45s Hatch back.

@@AdictiveAutos don't mind the idiots... you have 4matic+ in US non-S versions, meaning you can activate Race & Drift mode (4matic+ has the diff, comparing to the normal 4matic). I'm in EU but did a lot of digging haha

Thanks Ivan, Yep the speed limiter makes it technically slower than some much less powerful cars but it’s so much more powerful and quicker before reaching 155, but I don’t think many will be going faster than that :)

Longevity has to be pretty poor at that power/ liter ratio. Can only defy physics so much

This engine is going to be amazing on the new lotus. Definitely the engine to choose over the Toyota v6.

Thanks, I have a few setups with my GoPro that have been working really well. In this video there’s two. One mounted on the sun roof and the second is with a head strap. Quite a few have asked about this so I am going to put together a little video showing my setup and how to do it :)

I’ve had one random transmission error message pop up while doing a kickdown but it was fine after and has all been ok since.

Hi just want to find out. The black rear and passenger doors mirrors are installed by manufacture or you request them to tint black?
Hi Siva, everything on the car here is from factory from the manufacture. The black parts are often part of a ‘night pack’ but come standard on some AMG models. Hope this all helps. Adam

How does the fuel consumption look like per month for the 45s?
Hey Javid, I’m going to do some proper MPG tests in a video soon and I also may do an experiment to see what happens if I use race mode every day for a week as a fun vlog style video. Overall I’m getting an average Mpg of 23 so far. The problem is the tank itself is quite small so I find myself filling up once a week doing around 40 miles a day.
Was the most powerful is now the second most powerful, the new Mercedes’ with the M139 engine has an upgraded turbo charger giving it slightly more BHP than the CLA 45s.
True, and the new C63e hybrid will be even quicker. This engine is also now in an incredibly lighter lotus which will be quicker. If I’m honest the video is all about the M139 engine rather than the CLA45s itself. I just focused on CLA45s to make the video more accessible :)
Man that satin finish is truly made for that car but damn satin finishes are so god damn fragile i wouldnt dare to own one. Holy crap i just noticed you got the satin black rims aswell, what a nightmare😂😩

Exactly most powerful 4 cylinder engine, but it's FF based, drive shaft and crank shaft are orthogonal.
They’re not bad but I would probably go electric rather than a new 4 cylinder. The manufactured fart noises don’t sound great to my ears, and it’s got worse MPG than the V8!
What type of paint is this?

Would it be possible to buy this car if I earn 5k pounds a month?
That’s a really tricky question, this would depend on your living expenses dependencies etc and how much money you have left per month after 5k, for some this won’t be enough and for others it will be more than enough :)
