Is it just me or does JYP have so many hidden gems that people have yet to discover? I know it's been more than a year but not much people know about G.Soul yet and it's sad. He has a lot to offer and it's amazing to hear such a voice.

Now this is what I call class... Was watching Day6 and was impressed by them and then I clicked on one of the RUclips suggested videos which bring me to GSoul who surprises me even more. Now that I know JYPE is not just all kpop dancing idols but do invest in genuine artists that rely on their voices and abilities to make great music. Love it....

San E was a great rapper and a great artist too bad JYPE couldn't handle well on advertising their artist.. like the advertising of the 1st album is great and then suddenly it loses it's touch.. but I was kinda great that San E & JYPE was in good terms :) I hope this year will be a JYP year.. last year were mostly YG & other companies with I must say good rookies.. JYP only had the second half of the year with 2PM & GOT7. FIGHTING JYPE and JYPN STANS!!

JYP will let him debut even if they are not in this condition right now, bcoz remember 9 years ago, he almost make his debut in US but been hold bcoz economic probs at that time, and aside from JYP, he himself were the one who decide to stay and learn and polish himself until he is really and surely ready to come out :) Maybe because, he was once a shy boy, maybe he needs enough courage and experience to meet the world :) And here he is now :)

So Studio J is the new company label under JYP which showcases free and deep artists and G.Soul would be the first artist under that sub-label...I hope Hatfelt, Bernard Park, Baek Ah Yeon and maybe 15& or Sunmi will also join Studio J...as much as I love JYP Nation, JYPE doesn't promote much of them and mainly focus on groups like 2PM, 2AM (?) Miss A, Got7 and possibly the upcoming groups like 5Live and 6Mix...
Jay Daniel yeah :) G.Soul has the potential to become big nationally as well as internationally but that all comes down to the company promoting...hatfelt had an awesome solo debut but nowhere near did it make it high on the charts :( so im hoping this new sub-label will mainly focus on the solo artists and help them get where they're supposed to be...the top! :)
Ritaaargh probably not only the company's fault. For us who likes these type of songs, maybe we thought that they need more attention from the company. But, not many of the koreans like these type of music, that's why the company focus more on the group. While the others, they just depend on the album sale internationally. If you watch other companies, they rarely held a concert for solo artist. It's very risky. So let's just hope that more people will support them so the company can do more things for them.

the reasoning behind me saying that dude was wrapped up was because i literally never heard of him at all until my friend jessica showed some of his stuff. for many of jyp's prospects we see some hint or glimmer of when they are going to debut or even just an inkling of what he is going to release next. it might of been his choice but literally he went ghost for 9 years and no one knew until that mini manifesto that jyp posted which my friends just pointed out to me as well as the young lady who posted the twitter post too. i come down on jyp because many of my favorite artist aka 15& and miss a get put on backburners a lot of the time and i dont hear from them for a while. that is why i said my comment. for fear that that is what he did to this awesome man we are finally hearing today. i stand corrected at jyp not being the culprit for this one but my overall comment still stands and will not be edited. i am just happy i finally get to hear this man sing his heart out.

I just don't think he is not appreciated or wasn't at one point... like, who creates a label for a guy he doesn't consider talented? Tho people say he's old, I think he's not that old and he can still have a steady, long and successful career, he has enough talent for it... I rather an artist overthinking about his music than making a rushed debut, cause let's face it, once they debut and become popular they don't have much time left to study or grow as an artist... but like you said, whatever it is, we finally get to listen to him and that's all that matters now.

So Studio J is the new company label under JYP which showcases free and deep artists and G.Soul would be the first artist under that sub-label...I hope Hatfelt, Bernard Park, Baek Ah Yeon and maybe 15& or Sunmi will also join Studio J...as much as I love JYP Nation, JYPE doesn't promote much of them and mainly focus on groups like 2PM, 2AM (?) Miss A, Got7 and possibly the upcoming groups like 5Live and 6Mix...
Jay Daniel yeah :) G.Soul has the potential to become big nationally as well as internationally but that all comes down to the company promoting...hatfelt had an awesome solo debut but nowhere near did it make it high on the charts :( so im hoping this new sub-label will mainly focus on the solo artists and help them get where they're supposed to be...the top! :)
Ritaaargh probably not only the company's fault. For us who likes these type of songs, maybe we thought that they need more attention from the company. But, not many of the koreans like these type of music, that's why the company focus more on the group. While the others, they just depend on the album sale internationally. If you watch other companies, they rarely held a concert for solo artist. It's very risky. So let's just hope that more people will support them so the company can do more things for them.

You need to research a little more before making such harsh statements, JYP didn't lock him down, G.Soul himself did, so he could focus on his own growth... and I think we can all agree that the results are worth it.
the reasoning behind me saying that dude was wrapped up was because i literally never heard of him at all until my friend jessica showed some of his stuff. for many of jyp's prospects we see some hint or glimmer of when they are going to debut or even just an inkling of what he is going to release next. it might of been his choice but literally he went ghost for 9 years and no one knew until that mini manifesto that jyp posted which my friends just pointed out to me as well as the young lady who posted the twitter post too. i come down on jyp because many of my favorite artist aka 15& and miss a get put on backburners a lot of the time and i dont hear from them for a while. that is why i said my comment. for fear that that is what he did to this awesome man we are finally hearing today. i stand corrected at jyp not being the culprit for this one but my overall comment still stands and will not be edited. i am just happy i finally get to hear this man sing his heart out.
Daphnee Nazon I think that maybe JYP didn't mention him because there was not a date set and it was pretty much on G.Soul's own decision to say "I'm ready"... I just don't think he is not appreciated or wasn't at one point... like, who creates a label for a guy he doesn't consider talented? Tho people say he's old, I think he's not that old and he can still have a steady, long and successful career, he has enough talent for it... I rather an artist overthinking about his music than making a rushed debut, cause let's face it, once they debut and become popular they don't have much time left to study or grow as an artist... but like you said, whatever it is, we finally get to listen to him and that's all that matters now.
