Just stumbled across your channel. What amazing plants! They're obviously very happy. Will be going through your videos with great interest (new to the orchid hobby)
Your videos are absolutely amazing! Just stumbled across your channel and I really like it! Keep up the great work! After watching your "Growing orchids from seeds" series I'm now really tempted to give it a try myself! Grüße aus Niederösterreich 😉
Thank you Michael for the support 😊 I don't have access to rice hulls...and honestly never heard of them being used nor do I have a clue what that looks like. I will Google 😉
@@Orchidomania I first heard about rice hulls from old cymbidium growers her. Luckily my son has a farm near a bloke who grew rice so I managed to get a few bails
When I got the notification that you uploaded the video I clicked it straight away. Amazing video as always. I hope you and Giovanni have an amazing day.
@@Orchidomania Good! Hope you did not have a big problem. Good video besides that. Thanks! By the way; I use medium pieces of lavarock on the bottom of the container for drainage. Rinse it with boiling water in a bucket, tubtrug or bowl and when cooled down pour it through a sieve in another bucket, tub or bowl and I pour the water with the debris in my garden. You can do that with al media: nothing will be wasted, gardens can use it all. If you have a garden of course. Best regards!

Thank you Shena 😊 It's very nice of tou to say. I'm glad you liked it and thanks for visiting again 😊
I would advice you to use a sieve when you rinse debris. Otherwise your sink can be blocked in the long run.
Yes I already found out 😆
