Enjoyed the first episode. There's plenty of potential, so we'll see where it goes. Please be respectful with your comments as there are opinions on both ends of the spectrum. And please do not post spoilers. Let's enjoy the journey, regardless of where it goes. Thanks for watching! May the force be with you!
Without getting too deep into the dynamics in the fandom that you mentioned in the intro or any of the hot-button topics that lead into this show, I just wanted to say that your open-minded approach is appreciated and it's the right kind of outlook to have when something new comes out. It's good to not judge something before you've seen it, and only judge it on what it presents - not on preconceived notions or biases or some innate need to critique/defend the product. This level-headed perspective is refreshing and too rare.
I always enjoy Smols' reactions, whether solo or with the whole family. I hope they can join you for the next one. I'm with you just wanting to enjoy some Star Wars, theorize, and have fun with it. I'm still amazed we get to have Star Wars shows. So far, I'm really enjoying this one and am fascinated to see what happens next.
It's refreshing to have this set in a different period, and I'm intrigued enough by the characters to see where this leads. Not an attention grabber, but a possible slow burn. Appreciate the fandom comments during the intro, think most of us feel the same way. Also, I'd enjoy seeing those Andor reactions because (alongside The Mandalorian), it's my favourite SW show! Good job!
Totally agree with your comments in the intro about ignoring the other stuff and just focusing on the show/movie itself. If I wanted that other stuff, there are whole channels here and on TV. 😂
Thanks for your review. I went into the show having seen and heard nothing about it and thoroughly enjoyed it. Already seeing interesting characters and locations, the Jedi fighting style, intrigue and mystery.
Sol is the best character, a mix of Qui Gon and Obi Wan. Can not wait to see more of Indara in flashbacks.❤ Sol and Indara are the only reasons for me to watch this show🤘 Greetings from Germany
I don't know the specifics l, but I've heard the same. I'll let it play out and you'll get my genuine reaction to whatever it is....i have my suspicions....we'll see. 😱
Me too I enjoyed this episode ! Just curious but I think the thing I really like is it's totally new. Another timeline, a bunch of new characters and miles away from the Skywalker stuff!
Really enjoying the show so far. Intrigued with the story and all the characters. Excited to see where it goes. Agreed that it looks great and the fight scenes are awesome so far Enjoyed your reaction, including your intro and your analysis at the end. As others have said I appreciate your open mindedness. I’m from the same old school fan perspective as you, around your age. I’m enjoying all the new Star Wars we get nowadays. It’s not all perfect but it all feels like Star Wars to me 😉
I just thought of something. A number of fans grief with the thought of the master being a Sith is that if he’s discovered he hast to kill all the Jedi he comes in the contact with. But there is one scenario that may discredit that theory. The Jedi have shown that they have some secrets they keep in order to save face. What if the council alone knew that the Sith had returned or survived. What if that’s just a secret they kept from all the other Jedi in order to keep everyone calm? What if ki adi Mundi telling qui gon and obi wan “ that’s impossible! the sith have been extinct for a millennia” was only because they weren’t privy to that information and feign surprise…
Excellent, balanced reaction and review! My thoughts: The show has some rough edges, but so far, I’m into it. The story and acting are solid, the action and the fighting are well choreographed, and so far, it hasn’t flown in the face of canon. Let’s see where this goes! 🙂
You had me at "Lucasfilm." No, really, this show is really different from the rest of the STAR WARS content we've seen before, I'm really hyped for next week.

And because she slipped off the edge, Osha now insists there be guardrails everywhere

Lady’s got a dangerous job and ironically her name is OSHA 🤣
Haha...I almost commented on that while watching!!
MY KIND OF STAR WARS FAN!!😉
#STARWARSFAN4LIFE!!
From what I've heard, episodes 3 and 4 are going to give fans a stroke from anger.

Sweet Trade Federation cameo.
I was waiting for this!
She tanked a planetary re-entry impact better than Groot 🌱 She learned that technique in the space fireman union no doubt. 🔥

I dont understand the hate that some "fans" have... It boggles my mind.. i personally enjoyed the premiere..
There is absolutely nothing 'offensive' about the first two episodes. They are solid.
@@sirmarshall9521 agreed 👍
@@sirmarshall9521it’s episodes 3 & 4 that have caused the anger..apparently
The show is interesting great fight scenes great special FX and I like the cast.
appreciate the quick upload!

Okay “Han Smolo.” 😏😄
I have a crazy theory: What if the mysterious Sith is actually Darth Plagueis?
Or possibly his Master Darth Tenebrous. Either way, I'm hoping for a Plageus connection.
@@smolsfamilyreactions Yes, hoping for a connection to Plagueis as well! Either reveal would be great!
Have no problem with Guy Smolo reactions - sometimes it feels like the family would rather be doing somethingn else.
I really loved the first two episodes and yeah Vernestra is from the books
Hello Carrie, goodbye Carrie. WTF.
Sucks
I'm totally worried that the result of this show is coffee cups that have the slogan "The Sith were right!" on them. (Hawkeye reference)
