Nice video, I agree with all you said except the part you said Quran says you need to marry the person you committed zina with, the Quran does not say that, it says they CAN ONLY marry those that commited zina or idolatrous people. Very clear. Very interesting about the abortion points it makes sense.

I saw the entire video. You keep saying zeena means unlawful sexual intercourse. But you never explained and showed from the Qur'an what does unlawful sexual intercourse means. You keep giving your own explanation of what is unlawful sexual intercourse without the support from Qur'anic verses. You said its sex without marriage. You said its sex without a contract but where is your evidence for those statements if you are truthful.
When you claim you are Qur'an only then everything you explain must come from Qur'an and not your own personal understanding.
Have you thought about the verses where Allah talk's about RIGHT HAND POSSESSION

Hello, I have a question and was wondering for your pov on it from a Quran only perspective. If someone has committed zina in the past and has now repented, and there were no legal repercussions does the individual have an obligation to seek out public lashing? If there is no state authority that commits this should we self inflict the lashes by asking a trusted friend? Moreover, if someone has committed zina and repented, as described earlier does that mean they can never marry someone who is a virgin ? Please advise.

So that means if people are forced to commit Zina due to the strict rules of their society which means they can't get married so in this extreme case when they can't get married but they can't resist their natural sexual desires and they commit sexual intercourse without marriage and the woman does not get pregnant and avoids this activity until she is overwhelmed by this natural sexual desire then Allah may forgive her or him because they are not doing illegal sexual intercourse purely to fulfill their desires but because the society has left no other option for then to fulfill their basic natural sexual need?

  • @milesm7115
    @milesm7115 3 года назад

Thank you brother for your work again. I'm writing these with what I understand from my knowledge and what I understood from the people that say zina is sexual intercourse with a person who is under law with another person (married) and someone who is not under a law. I still couldnt decide if zina includes fornication or not.
Also theres another word and it is "fuhş" and that action has a punishment too (Al-Nisa 34).
I am going to explain the words from al nisa 34.
Sâlihât: the meaning here is the honest women that dont lie about their child's father.
Gayb: protect their child in their womb. Its gayb because only women can know if they're pregnant or not. They can abort but still can say that theyre pregnant.
Nuşûz: to get up where to sit, to sit where to stand. Thats why I think Nuşûz means fuhş.
Also this ayat is not for the only married women. It includes all women. Lets keep going.
We have to advise sweetly, if theyre married they shouldn't have sex with their husband but if theyre single, they shouldnt get married (because if they're not sâlihât, they can lie about the childs father and about their pregnancy.), and we shouldn't take away their rights while keeping them at home.
Its too detailed for women because we dont know if they did zina or not. Reminder this is not exactly a punishment, we're trying to figure out if there's zina or not because she might be pregnant. If they used protection, well never give them the zina punishment, even if they say we did zina. Because no one witnessed and since they have exceeded the limit determined by Almighty Allah, it means that the words of both people have lost their credibility.
Fuhş: basically means crossing the borders/ of law. And our law is Quran.
And that means you might did zina (like you make out with someone on the street etc.) but we dont know because we didn't see it. Theres no witnesses that saw zina. I said street because if we're going to punish (I'll say punishment but its not, as I said. I dont know the exact word for that), we need 4 witnesses for this action too.
Also catcalling, sexual harassment, sexual abuse etc can be called fuhş (see the ayats of Lot story)
When I look at all the ayats about zina and fuhş, what I understand is, these are still about one is married and one is none married couple.
So we can't say zina=fuhş right?
Marriage/nikha means two things; 1- your family, friends and the other persons family and friends must know about your relationship. You shouldn't hide your relationship.
2- you must want and love each other. You shouldn't use the other person for your own benefit. (I think the exact meanings of zina and fuhş support this explanation).
Theres also some ayats about unmarried people, so that means these are for one is already married, and other one is unmarried sexual intercourses, interactions. These are the ayats about unmarried couples. 5:5, 4:24
Theres a word that says sâfih. I dont know the exact meaning of this but I understand this as forcing someone.
Also at one ayat, (I'll write when I find) we see that a couple can be married even before men giving the women their mehr. So I thought maybe men should gave mehr if the woman is pregnant.
Thats what I understand but my knowledge is not enough so thats why I can't find an exact answer. I would be so happy if you can make a series or a video about these topics and about divorce. May Allah guide us.

@@milesm7115 Brother in Allah, this person is not interested in your honest trying to understand the word of Allah 3azza wa jal. This person is interested in explaning the Quran in a way that sounds like he brings the truth about Quran, the truth that has been hided by ALL hundred thounsands explanations from ALL DIVERSE sources, even but not only explanations of linguists specialised in Quran while he does not even master arabic language. WE D8N'T STUDY THE QURAN BY READING A SPECIFIC VERSE, THE ONE THAT PRECEEDS IT AND THE ONE THAT FOLLOWS IT THEN GO TO LOOK FOR THE MEANING OF WORDS IN THE DICTIONARY.
This does not mean at all that we cannot and should not read the Quran and have our own understanding of it wherever the Quran offers the possibility to do so, because we must admit that it is impossible to understand all the content without any help from SPECIALISED people, many sources in order to have our own conclusions. And our own conclusions are personal, NOT A ABSOLUTE TRUE WORD THAT WE SPREAD AS A HOLY MESSAGE TO MANIPULATE WEAK AND GNORANTS, WITH THE PURPOSE OF CREATING A MOVEMENT THAT WILL GO AGAINST THE TEACHINGS OF THE PROPHET PEACE AND BLESSINGS BE UPON HIM.
His purpose is to make beleive that he (his movement) are the only RIGHT readers of Quran. All from the beginning he ANNOUNCES that different kind of marriages have been invented in Islam...which is a big lie because there is some kind of ridiculous marriage defended by a very small group of people, but IT IS NOT PART OF THE ISLAMIC TRADITION !!! BUT HE ANNOUNCES IT AS AN ISLAMIC TRADITION, THUS AN ADMITTED PRACTICE BY MUSLIMS.

what is your opinion about this statment
I tried my best to translate from Arabic to English
The word baghya " بغيا " and albigha " البغاء"
in the Qur’an and according to religious heritage means prostitution and fornication but according to my understanding, and the evidence from the Qur’an means seek or ask or request something
The linguistic root for the mentioned words is a bugha " بغى" that did not come in the Qur’an nor one time with the meaning of fornication and its derivatives, it came to bear the meanings of seek or ask something
    verse 19.20
الايه [قالت أنى يكون لي غلام ولم يمسسني بشر ولم أك بغيا] مريم 20
the vers [qalt 'anaa yakun li ghulam walam yamsasni bashar walam 'ak bghaya] maryam 20
The vers [she said how come I have a boy ( ghulam) , and no human has touched me ( yamsasni ) and I have not ask or seek for this. Mary 20
when she said [no human has touched me] this includes touching in a legal or illegal manner or assaulting her to result in pregnancy and when she said [ and I have not ask or seek for this] and I did not ask or seek for this pregnancy or the boy.
Also see the consistency between the verses in the words of Mary and the words of God in response to the words of Mary
﴿قالت أنى يكون لي غلام ولم يمسسني بشر ولم أك بغيا۝قال كذلك قال ربك هو علي هين ولنجعله آية للناس ورحمة منا وكان أمرا
    مقضيا﴾
    [Maryam: 20-21]
﴿qaalat 'anaa yakun li ghulam walam yamsasni bashar walam 'ak bighya۝
qal kdhlk qal rabuk hu ealaya hayin walinajealah ayatan lilnaas warahmatan minaa wakan 'amrana maqdia﴾ [Maryam: 20-21]
The vers [she said how come I have a boy , and no human has touched me and I have not ask or seek for this. [Maryam: 20]
said as well as Your Lord said
this is easy upon me , and we will make him a sign for people and a mercy from us. And that was decided
    [Maryam: 21]
    when she said
"how come I have a boy , and no human has touched me"
    The Lord Answered
"this is easy upon me , and will make him a sign for people"
    also when she said
"and I have not ask or seek for this"
    The Lord Answered
    "And that was decided"
now you can see clearly the consistency between the verses
I tried my best to translate from Arabic to English but I think and hope the picture is clear
Also the word " البغاء "albigha in the next verse ,It does not mean fornication or prostitution, but rather means those ask or seek to marriage .
According to my understanding Surat Al-Nur, verses 32 and 33, speaks about marriage, and to encourage , motivate and helping unmarried to get married but not forced them to get marriage for your own benefit
this is my understanding there is on prostitution it is all about marriage
    ﴿وَأَنكِحُوا الأَيامى مِنكُم وَالصّالِحينَ مِن عِبادِكُم وَإِمائِكُم إِن يَكونوا فُقَراءَ يُغنِهِمُ اللَّهُ مِن فَضلِهِ وَاللَّهُ واسِعٌ عَليمٌ﴾ [An-Nûr: 32]
And marries ( urge upon marriage ) the unmarried among you and the righteous from your Eibad and your Emaa (male and female under your care and supervision ) . If they are poor, Allāh will enrich them from His bounty, and Allāh is all-Encompassing and Knowing.
walyastaefif ( abstain from sexual relations ) those who cannot find means for marrage until Allāh enriches them from His bounty. And those who seek keytab (marriage contract) from among whom your right hands possess ( right hands possess meaning those who under your care and supervision )then katibohm (than make marriage contract) with them if you know there is within them goodness and give them from the wealth of Allāh which He has given you ,but do not compel your girls If they wanted to be fortified ( meaning they don't want to marry those that came to make the marriage contract with her ) to seek for yourself temporary interests of worldly life. And if someone compel them ( Perhaps the girl does not want to marry because of his disability, fear, or .... in the girl herself, in this case, the guardian may force her to marry in the interest of the girl, not in the interest of the guardian. ), then ,Allāh after their compulsion, Forgiving and Merciful

He does not want to understand or explain, he wants to make Muslims leave all that make them Muslims and beleive in this deviation that denies any role of the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him in social life, while God 3azza wa jal tells us to take the Prophet peace and blessings be upon him as a role model. Your induction about "nafs" in verse 33 of chapter 17 is weak at best. The term is used elsewhere in the Quran and there is no evidence that it means an unborn baby, which btw is not the same as saying "soul". The reason God suggests its *possible that you can actually "kill a soul" is because the word "soul" here ("nafs") does not refer to something which is non-biological. A "soul" is just an "individual" or specifically the ego of a person. As in the expression "not a soul", meaning "none", rather than an intangible "spirit" of some sort. Within the Qur'an, that intagible "spirit" is closer to the meaning of "ruh" which God breathed into the clay to "animate" our species. While I agree with you that 33 is connected to the verses that closely proceeds it, it refers literally to the *killing of children already referred to, rather than too abortion. There is no explicit evidence that the children spoken of in the verses prior are unborn, *but the use of "nafs" further elucidates the ethos behind forbidding the killing of children.
Furthermore, the question of nafs would appear to be a question of consciousness, as nafs can make decisions. It is more or less agreed upon within the modern scientific community that consciousness is mainly localized in the cortex of the brain and therefore cannot emerge before 24 gestational weeks when the thalamocortical connections from the sense organs are established, hence the legal limit on abortion is at 22-24 weeks in many countries. Still, some argue that consciousness isn't apparent until birth due to endogenous sedation. What a fantastic creation it is, alhamduliLlah!
As for the main focus of the vid: If you haven't, and you get a chance, check out Siraj Islam's research on "zina" on Lamp of Islam. While I don't necessarily agree entirely with either of you on this, I think you both make some interesting deductions, though these days I am leaning a bit closer to his understanding. There are too many stretches in your understanding of zina and marriage (similar to your abortion argument). Particularly the idea that marriage is mandatory if a baby is produced via sexual contact. Aside from the obvious ethical dilemma of forcing marriage, it's not clear at all in the verses, though I have seen the custom in certain cultures.

  • @chehrazadeesmey8399
    @chehrazadeesmey8399 2 года назад

The two first types of marriage you talked about are NOT part of the tradition, MOST of the MUSLIM WORLD has never even heard of them.
And the third type of marriage cannot be OFF Quran law because it is not registraded by the state, since marriage written registration is a western concept unknown in islamic countries until they adopted the modern western conception of "state". Marriage contract is written by the qadhi. The state does not negate the qadhi contract, it just can be a chosen alternative or complement to the "qadhi contract".

Surah al buruj 21-22 written on tablets. During the prophets life the Quran was written down, many sahih hadees that you love to read about the scribes writing verses after they’re recited. Birmingham manuscripts have dots as harakat

You sound foolish. Who are you to say who can or cannot claim the Quran? You have a young child's mind.

I'm trying to understand this topic can you tell me why do you think like that? I couldn't find any answers yet about what exactly zina means in the Quran.

All I was trying to do was bring the attention to the the fact if zina has to be associated with sex then it should be called (Rape) because it is forced act.
      Mutually agreed sex is nikha

@@ma3ts I get it now! It makes sense because no one talks about rape in the Quran. Theres 3 words that we associate with sexual things/sex but no one mentions rape and sexual assault. If we understand the zina in the traditional meaning (sex before nikha) it has a punishment. But rape and sexual assault has no punishment and it doesn't make sense to me. Then how do you understand 17:32? Fahisha and zina is not the same thing because fahisha has another punishment in 4:15, 4:16. And 17:32 shows that the ways of coming near of zina called fahisha. What are those ways? And lastly, isnt zina's punishment is for both sides? Maybe its not just about forcing but cheating too. Sorry if I bother you ofc you don't have to answer but I'm asking you because no one thinks like that. I also want to say that nikha is not mutually agreed sexual intercourse because at 33:49 Allah tells us how to divorce if we did nikha but didnt have sex yet.
