Angel is one of my FAVORITE X- men characters and I was very happy when he got his archangel upgrade.
Archangel is my favorite Sayian from Krypton. I've got all his Justice League action figures, and read all of his DarkHorse comics paper backs. Why they didn't bring up how he killed off Valdomort for the One Ring to rule them all, I'll never know smh.

Boy, I must be a real jerk for saying this, but I never gave a damn about the old Worthington. I didn't find him the least bit interesting until he was so badly corrupted.
I know it can feel a little bit mean, but Original Angel never really had much going for him. I'm kind of shocked that so many people really seem to not know about or actually dislike Archangel, and while dealing with a superpowered dark side may be a tired plot point these days, it was pretty novel at the time and added an extra dimension to a character who otherwise had zero dimensions. (And this is from someone who still does like Warren a bit even when he's not Archangel!)
Sometimes I wonder if so many people keep wanting OG Warren just because they want the OG Five X-Men to keep being a thing. I feel like whenever the OG 5 get put back together, people are happy for a while, but then it just turns into everyone enjoying Scott, Jean, and Bobby, and once in a while they remember Hank exists, and then Warren they don't give a fuck about, but if you dare break up the set, then people get mad.

The 90s cartoon introduced me to X-Men and the Apocalypse storyline involving Archangel, the Phoenix saga, & the characters Psylocke, Bishop, Cable & Forge were great.
Archangel was easily one of the most memorable characters from the 90s cartoon series.

X Men Apocalypse was a terrible movie they nerfed a lot of characters in that movie along with other Fox Marvel movies where they don’t get any detail right like the height of Wolverine and Cable or the character and powers of Apocalypse the Celestial Ship allows for the transformation of some of the mutants to be augmented into becoming his Horsemen Of Apocalypse not him being able to increase their powers to new levels of strength that was never specified or shown in the comics the only mutant that was able to do that was Fabian Cortez and X Men First Class was a terrible movie because everyone knows Professor Xavier first team consisted of Cyclops,Angel,Marvel Girl,Iceman,and Beast,the second team consisted of Storm,Wolverine,Nightcrawler,Colossus, Thunderbird,Sunfire,and Banshee the later teams being split between X Men Gold and Blue teams but before that the original members of the X Men went on to form of X Factor which was a mutant hunting force but secretly served as a training ground for mutants to learn about their powers and be able to cope in society with them and was funded by Warren Worthington III the X Men 90’s team would feature in its ranks four new members Rogue,Gambit,Psylocke,and Jubilee replacing Banshee,Thunderbird,Colossus,and Sunfire
Love Archangel. That storyline was in the middle of my X-affiliation. I thought the original X-Factor was one of the best comics out there.

Angel, Nightcrawler and Luke Cage are my favorites.
I was really hoping that in the only two movies Angel has appeared, they would give him the relevance it deserved but for some reason Fox doesn't want to. I liked Ben's performance as Angel in Apocalypse but unfortunately they hint you he dies since he hasn't appeared or mentioned again :(

If you saw the 2 part pilot of the 90's X-Men series, then you've seen Morph's complete origin. He was created specifically for the animated series to illicit the emotion of a team member dying in action because the producers of the show were prohibited from killing and name X or Marvel characters.

one of my favorite artist Walt Simonson's design on this character was so dope. I wish they would use his skull mask more often, I always liked it. archangel always been one of my favorites. the design for archangel in the new x-men apocalypse movie sucked imo, and how his wings turned metal was lazy I thought.

While it would be cool to have wings to fly, offensively Warren was useless in battle until he became Archangel. He's a greater character now but he still seems to be underutilized, underused and underrated. Cyclops, Jean Grey, Beast, Iceman, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Gambit, Storm, Rogue (with Gambit), Kitty Pryde, Magik and Magneto have all been given ongoing or mini series except Archangel. Warren is a great, complex and badass character who deserves to be given his due.
Thank goodness Marvel decided to change Angel, because he was one of the MOST worthless character created

Admittedly, I never really understood how his metal wings became feathered again... being that he actually had nubs where his organic wings used to be but were cut off. One would think that is where his wings would grow back.

Well yea... but the implication is that the techno ones are where his original ones were, as though they were direct replacements, which I suppose would make sense (Upon suspended belief of science, in favor of the "celestial technology" explanation) however, there were the places in which the metal wings were affixed to/emerging from, on his back... and then there were the nubs of his previous wings, independent of anything in association of the metal ones.
he wasn't an easy fight, he could have killed me, but when he awoke to angel, he regrets what happened, wasnt easy to forgive, but eventually i did

ARCHANGEL is the most underrated & underused X-Men character of all time. I'd like to see him go evil and form a team to challenge the corrupt X-Men of Krakoa.

Archangel and the grey hulk are like alternate version of the main thing but in Archangel's case it made him more interesting unless of course some how the grey matches the green hulk in strenghth somehow.

according to what i found it's no surprise really that arch angel has regrown his wings he like wolverine but to a different degree has a healing factor mutation as well as his wings (similar to how the claws are a secondary mutation but wolverine's power is healing)
