Am a young Christian lady who was going through Alot since last month I lost my job and lost almost everything I worked so hard for I was depressed to the point I wanted to commit suicide I blamed people for my calamity but now I have just realized that God wanted to Change something about my life. Thanks Alot for the words and may God guide me on the right path.

According to this hadith, a man named Zahir, who used to declare that “the prophet loves me,” said that one day Muhammad crept unawares behind him and put him in a bear-hug. Zahir, alarmed, yelled, “Get off me!” After turning his head and discovering that it was Muhammad, he stopped struggling and proceeded to “push his back into the prophet’s chest-prayers and blessings upon him."
Sunan Abu Dawud 5224(one of the six canonical hadith collections)
"The prophet lift up his shirt so he (the man) hugged him and kiss his torso (from his belly button to his armpits)".
the same story has been repeated by Dawud 1669:
"..My father sought permission from prophet. (when permission was granted), he entered between him and his shirt and began to kiss him and embrace him.."

I'm not Muslim but my mom coverted when I was around 10 yrs old.. Im in my early 20s now and I've been feeling so lost and alone so I decided to be (or try to be) more spiritually awake. Listening to these lectures just make sense and I feel at peace. Hopefully I could understand the religion of Islam more. Im happy that I have my mom if I have any questions or need guidance.

@Go Transcript i was raised Christian. I always had the feeling that the romans perverted Jesus into their diety because the population of the area downright refused to worship the Roman empire. So they waited a couple hundred years when the average lifetime was 40-50 years to subvert a majority of the population as a mean of retaining influence. Im not super well read on it. But this is only my interpretation. Which is always open to new ideas.

CLAIM of hadith have Jima, or ijma, but if the source of CLAIM is by a Munafiq Sahaba who did not accept Islam from his heart and only publicly than his CLAIM of hadith goes to toilet. In Quran, 4:140 surah An-Nisa, ayat 140 and 88:1 surah Al-Ghashiya , Ayat 1, the word by word meaning of the word Hadith is " talk" . Only munafekeen will disagree with me since it is very clearly written there in Quran reference I gave above.
CLAIM of hadith is not the word of our Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) but the word of Munafiq Sahaba. Hadith means " talk, or talk of" .
When we see "sentence by sentence " translation we will not see the meaning of Hadith but if we look for " word by word " meaning we will find the true meaning of the word " hadith"' .

I was pregnant when I lost my job, life wasn't easy for me, and kids, it was stressful but mashAllah all praise belong to Allah. The most important thing in life is Alhamdulillah for everything.

You should become Muslim if u r yearning to be one because death can happen any time and u don't want to take the risk of not becoming Muslim before you die. As Allah s.w.t. tells us in the Quran:
Aal-e-Imran 3:102-103
(102) O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him].
(103) And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you - when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.

I was married to a Muslim man that always prayed & talked about the Quran. He passed away a little over two years ago. I am not Muslim. But enjoy listening to mufti. I’ve been going through a lot of depression due to my husband passing, my job, & just not being happy in life. I still have my parents my kids and nine grandkids so I really don’t understand why I’m so miserable.I believe in Allah and I pray all the time morning, noon, night, while working, while driving. I believe things will get better inshallah so I will continue to pray. Thank you Mufti for all your positive vibes.

I have noticed that the problems that Mufti Menk often uses as examples are related to jobs, money, and health issues. In my opinion it is easier to be patient and have faith with these types of "problems" (as I have experienced all 3). I would really love to see a video/lecture about dealing with emotional abuse in an environment that is impossible to escape due to circumstances. For example, living with a person who swears at you, calls you bad names, and yells at you, and being unable to leave the environment due to disabilities caused by a car accident injury, which has made the person's body more sensitive to anger and swearing. In my opinion, other types of difficulties in life are easier to face than emotional abuse because in other scenarios at least your heart can be at peace because there is nobody yelling, swearing, and degrading you.

Sister it might be beneficial to listen on top of Mufti’s videos videos about narcissism or narcissistic abuse, that’s what I’ve been watching to make me see that I’m not crazy and that what I’m going through has a name! I left an emotionally abusive marriage of 11 years. Get informed sister, it will save your life! Don’t let them use excuses to abuse you whether they have gotten ill or not.

Quran does not allow underage marriage, and no action of Prophet Mohammad contradicts Quran, Aisha did not narrate but some lier used her name to narrate. Aisha was not 9 but 19 at the age of her marriage, HADITH is not the word of Prophet Mohammad but the word of Narrator which is " word of mouth" she said he said. And Sunnah is not the action of Prophet Muhammad but the word of Narrator which comes from " word of mouth". In Quran 4;140 , Surah An-Nisah , Ayat 140, there you see the word of Hadith and it means " talk or what he or she talked" .
Emam Bukhari collected 600,000 CLAIM of hadith and only validated or made Authentic 2230 and threw the rest of Claim of hadith in the toilet. 600,000 minus 2230 , so he did throw 597,770 in the garbage. Emam Abu Hanifa said if any time in the future you find better way of finding if this Claim of Hadith is not true throw that claim of hadith in the toilet. Who gave these four stupid Emams right to throw large number of CLAIM of hadith and keep whatever they wanted to.
If you are a Muslim than you know that Hadith is a Claim and not the word of our beloved Prophet Mohammad. It was an Iraqi Munafiq who fabricated the age of Hazrat Isha, this Munafiq was born in Iraq and never been in Madina or Mecca. Ibn Sad was born in 168 Higri and fabricated lies in his book " Tabqat Ibn e Saad" about the family of Prophet

This man is a coward if he agreed to marry girl his parents chose he could have said in nikah that he doesn’t want to marry the mufti would have dissolved the nikah ceremony . He accepted and said yes . Even if he married u by running away his family would mentally torture u all life so allah knew best
May Allah help you sister.. keep dua to Him, keep making solah istikharah, may from that you will see and feel at ease for everything. advice your boyfriend to do the solah as well.. insyaAllah there is a way.. amiin
