quick memory... i was in L.A. visiting my sister and she had bought tickets for us to go. got the picnic basket, was going to be a whole evening event. my dad listened to this song so we both had such an attachment to it and were looking forward to this event especially, tribute to Gershwin. well, we get there, tickets were for a different date! she was talking to someone, i was in tears.. lol heartbroken. as we were about to leave, a manager came out and said we had tickets to follow them in. we expected ok, at least we're in... even up in the nosebleed section, we get to go in!! we started out up there, then were lead down, over, down... down, over... like, ohh my gosh! all the way down and left of the stage, AMAZING seats!! we enjoyed this entire concert, just being at the Hollywood Bowl, hearing all the songs, but when this one came on... you could hear a pin drop, and we hung onto every note. tears streaming as i just took it all in, sitting that close, in the summer night, how incredible. thank you for this post, my heart is touched
