Makapu’u hike is one of my favorite in Oahu, we hiked Makapu’u with my daughter on her stroller. The view is absolutely amazing. We ❤❤❤❤❤ HAWAIII!

@@JanandAnn I grew up in Hawaii and LOVE Filipino food! You guys went fro. Waianae to Makapuu...that's a drive. If you look south west you can see the Philippines!😂
Starting early 1900, sakada, mainly from ilocos, emigrated to Hawaii to work on pineapple/sugar plantations, until mid-1940s-50s. My grandpa & his other friends/relatives, came to Hawaii mid-1930s or so. They ended up working Waialua & Kahuku plantations

Galbi or sometimes they spell it Kalbi here is Korean. Hawaii has many different Asian influences in the food here. We have Korean short ribs in many local plate lunch places.

@@JanandAnn building of the rail system on Dillingham Blvd. This is why Bob's BBQ will move to a new place around Fall of 2024 to the corner of Gulick Ave and North School St. Tasty Chop Suey bldg will be renovated or torn down as Bob 's will occupy that lot.
