Animals in the wild usually have a very limited diet and we replicate that with pets, so it'd probably be better to have some kind of complete super food and eat that everyday although it might get boring.

Dog Street also exists in The Bouncer as it's where the three playable characters work. It's most likely just a generic name used to reference the place, much like the 104 Building showing up in both TWEWY and KH3 being a reference to the 109 Shopping Mall.
