Best renditon of this piece I've ever heard. Fiddling is fantastic and the guitar is amazing. But that's some old-time banjo picking. I've never seen such a relaxed, easy-going style. It looks absolutely effortless.
Music is so great and outstanding scenery....I thought (just for a second) that it was a green screen and we might see Moonshine V dancing across the canyon!
love this music! Hey, I play old time and will be in Moab the last week of September, and will have my banjo and mando with me. If you all want to play, let me know!
My question is, why would anyone give this a thumbs down? Angry trolls who haven't eaten enough fiber? Some people wouldn't know joy and beauty if it flew up their butts!
Maybe they accidentally touched the thumbs down (I've done that) buy didn't know that touching it again deleted it. I just sent this to my gals to cheer them up on this gray snowy day.
wow.....I would never have recognized Trevor hiding behind that beard. :) The entire Paine family are GREAT people, and AMAZINGLY talented. it really is a shamre there is not more video out there of Don's fiddling, April's guitar & beautiful voice, Nate's smoooooooth playing, and Trevor & Ali's wonderful duets. And if you are ever in need of a mandolin, check out the STUNNING work that Don & Josh are doing at Pomeroy Mandolins.......WOW!!!!! (no, I don't get paid for saying that)
Just delightful! Amazing musicians in the most beautiful setting. I came across this, looking to finalize a fiddle version of the tune. This will do it, but I'm still struggling with my flatfooting.
WOW!!, Just now found this, by accident! Took me 84-1/2 years to find the perfect sound for my likin'! Have you done any more that I can't find? I may wear out the grooves in this one 'cause it can't get no better!!! ...dw
Pretty great. Continuing my insatiable need for chasing good music! Often leads back here! Looking forward to Wintergrass. How are you? @@MissMoonshineDance
So enjoyed this tune. Thank you for posting. I’m creating a video of a recent vacation my family took to Fort Morgan, Alabama. With your permission I would like to use this as background music to the narrative. Of course I will give you credit as the artist, but only with your permission. Again thank you.
That's find. I believe the proper way to credit is to both include the original URL to the video in the description, and to also @missmoonshinedance the channel so that it gets clickable. You could also mention the Paine Trio. Thanks, S
I'd like to hear more of these guys - they sound great together. 😊

The combination of a fiddle, a banjo and a guitar (+bass?) makes a magical Zen-n-n. Never boring.
Best renditon of this piece I've ever heard. Fiddling is fantastic and the guitar is amazing.
But that's some old-time banjo picking. I've never seen such a relaxed, easy-going style. It looks absolutely effortless.
I was thinking the same thing. It's the best version of the song I have heard.

🌞
Got that right !!..
Maybe they accidentally touched the thumbs down (I've done that) buy didn't know that touching it again deleted it. I just sent this to my gals to cheer them up on this gray snowy day.
My sentiments exactly … people like that need to see a proctologist and a tree surgeon to remove that branch
Fantastic music lads

A great trio! Not sure how it was recorded but it was a fantastic job.
Thumbs up! Great work for sure.
Love those bass runs...
Just love those Canadian Art and Lutherie guitars, small body but great bass. They have good 'bite' for a string band.
Time for a recharge! Life is good!
What a great song! And really well played. Nice work up the neck on that sweet sweet banjo!!
Great music.
Superb!
Love the tune ..I get sick getting close to the edge myself .. It looks too close for comfort to this New England ridge runner ...
Excellent.
Tremendous playing and magical location, enjoying it a lot, even though you look like your hiding from the law!
they are not hiding from the law, just shy Vermonters

'For REAL!'
This brought a huge smile to my face! Are there lyrics to this song? I`m thinking that smile could grow if so.
Around the Fairy Fort sounds quite a bit like this. I wouldn't be surprised if Sals's Got Mud Between Her Toes were deiived from it.
Love it. Love that bluegrass music boys!
DIRECT ME TO MORE PAINE TRIO PLEASE!!
