It’s getting to be impossible to say he’s not a top 5 QB at this point. Look at all the other elite qbs this postseason and how he’s performed compared to them with less weapons, a worse defense, all on the road against elite teams. I get that it’s supposed to be against the rules to say this about a rookie but the ball don’t lie!

@@cmyskinsfan to be fair the teams he faced have bargain bin defenses. This next one is the real test. Defense is doing just enough to keep us in the game so we can afford these 4th down plays. The receivers amaze. The culture of team is exciting to see. Something you said that has stuck with me. He is a true Pocket Passer who is amazing on the move. With an O-line that gives him more than 2 seconds to throw this man is going to surgically dismantle offenses for years to come. They keep comparing him to Lamar and Jalen when he stands completely apart from both of them.

  • @hitmanyr2kHQ

Jayden Daniels is BY FAR the best rookie QB for what he's done and what he's asked to do every game. The Commanders needed every game in the 2nd half of the season just to get in the playoffs and he came through, especially in clutch situations. Daniels covers up so many holes on that Commanders team. They didn't have a consistent run game the second half of the season. No problem, Jayden can be their leading rusher. The offensive line is banged up and not doing well against the pass rush? No problem, Jayden can escape the pocket when it breaks down and make sht happen on his own. The defense is subpar and not good at stopping the run? No problem, Jayden can engineer long drives, dominate the time of possession and score while keeping the other team's offense off the field. He did it to the Bucs, did it to the Lions. 4th down and whatever? No problem. Jayden we're putting the ball in your hands to convert these at an 80+% clip. He's been doing it all season.
Then we get to the playoffs. Everyone is questioning his experience and he plays a cleaner game than the very experienced Baker Mayfield. The next week how are the Commanders going to keep up with the Lions who have the best offense since the "greatest show on turf"? He does it. And once again plays a much cleaner game that the much more experienced Goff. I'm not putting him up there with the greatest historically but THIS season Jayden is a Top 5 QB.

Lets stop calling him a rookie, he was a rookie for 2 weeks and put it all together week 3 against Cincinnati. You can't look at what he has done with the team around him and a middle of the road defense (albeit much improved in recent weeks) and say that he isnt in the conversation with guys like Lamar, Mahomes, Burrow and Allen. Give him another receiving threat and watch what happens next season. Lets not forget he hurt his ribs at the begging of the Carolina game. He easily could have had 4000 passing yards, 1000 rushing yards 30 passing tds and 10 rushing had he stayed healthy possibly. Next season is going to be crazy

JD makes the defense and offense play at a high level, being as tho he a rookie and all that’s what makes it even better, we have a diversity with rooks and vets most of them come from other teams, some we had for a few years the Defense get turn over just to get JD back the ball, and the offense is like no child left behind program anybody can make a clutch play at any giving time, and if they can’t that means JD is uncounted for and if he is we all saw more than 3x’s what he will do, he don’t look for the big play he make the big play.

I've believed in JD5 since before we drafted him. Many fans wanted JD5 but i remember a lot wanting to trade up to get Caleb Williams and the thought of doing that made me sick, why trade away the future to draft the wrong qb? I didn't see it and thankfully the boss didn't either. I also remember lots of fans wanting Maye and saying he was the best in the draft. Go back, look through my comments, i wanted JD5 and JD5 only, i also told those that wanted Williams or Maye that they was crazy, JD5 was it and he's been all that and more.
Fast forward 17 regular season games and 2 playoff games and JD5 has made not only the Washington fanbase believers(those that didn't believe in JD5 from pre-draft) but JD5 has made the entire football world believers. I had complete faith that JD5 would be a great nfl qb and even though i had higher hopes than most for this season, i would be a liar if i said i thought we'd go 12-5 and about to be playing nfc championship game to go to superbowl. What i thought or anyone else doesn't matter now though, what matters now is that its happened and Washington is about to play the Eagles for the chance to advance to the superbowl. I absolutely believe Washington can and win again against the Eagles. I 💯 have full faith in JD5 and the entire team. These guys believe in themselves and each other and i believe Washington gets it done against the Eagles.
Only Washington fans believe in this team and im a Diehard life-long fan, been so since i was 6 years old and thats 41 years ago now. I posted last week that Washington would beat the lions by atleast 10 and i got so many replys telling me i was crazy before the game, not mych was said after the game though 😂. I'm not gonna give a score this week but Washington will beat the Eagles, no doubt in my mind. Eagles are very good but Washington is better and they're playing like a superbowl caliber team.
Enjoy the game Washington Family ✌️

Are you dense? Have you actually watched what this kid has been doing?!? And you dare to mention Herbert? 🤦🏻 Daniels doesn't play every position but he's been a great QB AND lead his team in rushing this season. That's a lot of pressure and Jayden keeps answering the bell, on the road in hostile environments. Herbert? Really? 😂
