I love how you handled the bass in this one. I think of Bach's basslines in this sort of disjointed, "centered" style, and a lot of times it leads to some interesting developments

Very much so - the beauty of this form of interpretation is that you can go beyond the actual capabilities of traditional instruments, and highlight pretty much whatever your heart desires. :)
