I listened to them alot back then!!! Miss those days 😔
They were the Beyonce and Jay-Z of the early 2000's

RONY HITALIA achi
like i as born in 1999 and I do agree that some of the music back then was good and some wasn't ad that hasn't changed some music is good and some isnt
Yeah that's what she was saying at a concert of hers I just went to the other day. But what sucks is they had to give some of those tickets away. I felt bad for her
RONY HITALIA wow, is u so good the last nice.😉
I like how the girls dressed simple and didnt have to try as hard as they do now
Right?! There's so much color and personality yet it's cute and just worn perfectly by everyone!
It's how society expects women to be now but i personally prefer the relaxed and laid back vibe
Yeah, this was when they could keep their clothes on and still get hella people watching if they had talent.
Damn straight.... 😁😁😁😁 she beautiful like the words
so true. The 90s and early 00s were such a similar time. cargo pants and crop tops or jeans and a cute and talent. Lots of talent.
This song immediately puts me in a good mood. It’s one of those songs that makes me wanna smile while singing along.
Exactly. I totally agree with you today. And this song is 2 decades old or close to it. Stay safe

My fave I'm here again in 2024
Hearing these songs bring back good memories when life wasn’t so stressful. These songs make me never settle because it boost my ego and confidence
Everything was about boosting your confidence, and uplifting back then… now it’s all about trying to flex on the next person, or make everything a competition… it’s very perplexing how the human mind works. I remember feeling like no matter where I went I always still felt like I was in the comfort of my own home, and even strangers felt like family. Everything, and everyone was full of life, and now It’s like everything is the complete opposite. The light, and sun rays literally don’t even shine, or glisten off your skin like they used to. The sky’s aren’t as blue as they once were, and the clouds don’t look the same anymore. Everyone is dead inside, and the genuine smiles aren’t the norm like they were 20+ years ago. Nothing is colorful as it once was, and it almost seems like there’s a grey tint over everything now even on the bright, and sunny days. Peoples sense of humor isn’t even the same, and have become heartless. Also it’s much deeper than social media ruining everything. Someone may read this, and think I’m being cynical, or pessimistic, but I never once said I dwell on these things, can’t find joy in the present moment, stay stuck in the past, or not thankful to be alive still. Things could always be worse, but I know what I’m saying is the truth, and God knows it.
I'm a 25 year old man and listen to this stuff still... don't even care if it's a girl song or not I'll always love these classics, makes me happy as shit listening to it. Fuck trap music and what things have become, I'll always be living in the past as far as hip hop/rap/rnb goes.
Jesse Holiday I'm the same age and agree, but I enjoy some trap music :x Also Ashanti fine af now
+Jesse Holiday - I'm a 26 yr old and love this song and her voice. Ashanti and JaRule made Murder Inc amazing. Str8 memories.

This Video makes me think of Happy times. The 90s & Early 2000s was the Golden/Silver age when the realms were touched by the Heavens(God). And when Music Videos had LIFE and COLOR and SOUL to them. The Nostalgia gives you that Vibe where Life felt like you were in Another Dimension back then like Heaven on Earth. Reminds me of waking up in the morning in the Summertime and how everyone would be outside, and when the Air was FRESH and PURE. Seemed like the Sun always Shined those days. People were more Real and knew how to come together and Live and Kick it. Good times...

Damn I feel old watching this (26 now)! Me and my sister was both jamming to this song back in '02 and I'm a guy! This summer...hell all the summer's of the early 2000s had amazing and feel good music. They call the era when the Disney movies such as The Lion King, Aladdin, Milan etc, the Disney Renaissance because all those movies were just great. I truly feel from 2000-2005 this was Hip Hop/RnB Music Renaissance. You just felt something good in the air when music during that time came on the radio, and it was a time before true digital downloading and we all had our CD/Album collections. This was a time when we was watching 106 & Park Top Ten Live w. AJ & Free, MTV Jams, TRL, etc. Just a great time for music in general!!! Miss those days!
100% agree.
