@@jalma9643 in this video and in all of his video he uses an external capture card to record his benchmark of games (it's like playing the game in pc and recording the gameplay with a phone)... So there is 0% fps loss... And as for my fps... Yes it is lower but by 1-10fps....i don't have the exact system as he have and my proccessor is weak.
This game 5 years old still looks better than most of today's games, runs like a dream on newer and older hardware, still donno what graphical fidelity we achieved in the last few years that games have became so intensive.

One of the best single players ive ever played, it's just a shame getting the graphics correct is such a hassle. I wish it was as simple as pressing all high or all ultra and done. Ive had alot of blurry and pixelated issues
RDR 2 is for sure one of those games that should be played at higher resolution with lower fps (for me atleast 60). At 1080p it honestly looks really bad but once you change to 1440p/4k its one of the best looking games still to this day.
mate, i'm litterally looking for an upgrade for both rdr2 and cyberpunk within the next few months which includes a 3060 12gb, you have no idea how amazing the timing on this is and google gave me both reviews when looking for the games/gpus (as of commenting 5 hours ago this review came out)
Exact same situation here. Going to buy a new Gpu in two months finally and although I love AMD, this card is so much better than my 570x and quite cheap (amd is more expensive here). So glad I found this video!
Crazy to think that it wasn’t just 10 years ago or so that my Xbox 360 was chugging at 30fps or something and even dropping frames in some games. And by todays standards 30 fps is considered unplayable now / unenjoyable .
This card got a bad rap when it first came out, but overtime it's a really good card especially since prices have gone back to normal. I've got the MSI Ventus 2x version that overclocks great, and I get 80-90 fps in the benchmark with Ultra/high settings at 1440p with DLSS quality.
Well yes but considering the rx 6600 is 100 bucks cheaper and not far behind its a better buy for people that upgrade/ get started. Espacilly if they olay games without dlss
DLSS performance at 8k is 4k, Ultra performance at 8k is 1440p. Quality is 66.7% scale, Balanced is 58%, Performance is 50%, Ultra Performance is 33.3%. This means at 4k, quality is 1440p, balanced is 1252p, performance is 1080p, and ultra performance is 720p.
I think you might have misunderstood about 8K dlss. At performance dlss its upscaled from 4K and ultra performance dlss is upscaling from 1440p. Its always at any given resolution if we talk about performance dlss it would b the 4 times less pixel count getting upscaled to the selected resolution.😁

Dude! I'm losing my patience with the A770 🤣 so many issues especially with the capture card!!! I've had to re-record 9 of the 16 games, sometimes 3 times! So annoying! I'll be sure to tell people not to use capture cards with Arc!!

True, i used to try this game on on integrated graphics from ryzen 7 4000 series laptop amd it is playlable with my custom lowest to sort of medium , remember that ryzen 4000 has siginificatly worse igpu than radeon 680m on steam deck

Yeah unless you're trying to push 360fps in competitive games it will be exactly the same. I have the same specs except with a 10400 and it feels like a beast compared to the 940m laptop I was using haha. Great at 1440p, dlss looks nice, and it overclocks like a beast for another 10% performance.

Well of course it will work, but you will have a cpu bottleneck at 1080p and even 1440p and 4k. You still can play doe. However why are ypu buying a 3060 12gb rn and not a rx 6700 for example?
Did you notice any heavy ghosting at 4k optimized? I have the same card and I'm playing on a Samsung S90C OLED and objects tend to double and blur very heavily when moving and panning the camera. I can't seem to do anything about it. I'm getting the same FPS you were so I'm not sure what the problem is. I've disabled all AA settings and g-sync but nothing helps. I mean its seriously like double vision when things are in motion.
rtx 3060 12gb is the best budget gpu for a gaming pc if i have understood it after alot of y.t n googel searches(mayby a better amd,but i prefer this 1).. Im currently gaming on my 1st gaming pc w Gtx1650 i5 9400f 16gb ram so a rtx 3060+i5 12gen 32gb ram i hope will be able to max out settings in all games on 1080p or pretty close atleast(had alot of problem w 2023 w my gtx1650 due to more demanding games so time for a better pc i can afford and rtx 3070 is so much more expensive where i live so its not worth it at this moment...) Just a big thanks 4 this video so i could see the kind of games i play n what this gpu is capable of in them(helped me alot for jan 2024 purchase)
You sure will be able to max out the settings. The real problem will be whatever outcome you will get as a result.Sorry but even as a nvidia user I can tell that they are not known to offer the most beefy thing you can get at this price range.

this might be a lil bit of a hot take, but rdr2 needed some more patches on pc. r* dropped the support, yet they havent fixed some issues, such as TAA which makes the graphics seem like paintings when on and weirdly oversharped when off. i'm not saying by any means that this is a bad port, i think it's amazing and one of the best pc games ever, but it's nowhere near perfect and it couldve been better
Get 3060 8gb vram will be a necessity in the future (by future i mean now... every other game eats more vram with crappy looking textures.... And you are getting DLS as a bonus to) Oh and ray tracing is just there for showcase... Don't expect much(it will run average)

And as for overclocking yes oc will give you some extra fps but you have to run RTX 3060 on low temperature room or it will be bad for longrun.
i wonder if you know why does rdr2 lag in towns, and outside them works fine (i have a 3060 12gb paired with an r5 3600), and my cpu goes crazy like 90% usage all the time and my gpu is at like 40%
Watching Kryzzp play rdr2 is heartbreaking. We all know he sucks at driving, but in this game everytime he crashes his vehicle a horse dies on camera. Then on top of that he also kicks said dead horse in the head just to drive his point across
Hey man i just got rtx 3060 and i think it has problems with my i5 6400 i tried playing warzone but i wasnt able to play because it only used 100% of cpu and low percentage of gpu. So i am wondering is this cpus fault or is it because i have 8 gb of ram
I've had my 16gb 3060 for 2 months now and its been amazing. I can run ultra on every game i play and never drop under 120fps. Most games run 144 consistently
The game recommended Specs is a duplicate of the minimal required specs on Steam... At least 3060 can deliver enough performance at 1440p or 21:9 1080p
Yo krysp, I got a 3060 MSI 12gb and every time I load rdr2 I get a gfx error every 10 minutes into the game. Idk what could fix this, I’ve dried deleting those pipeline files but it still crashes. Do yk what could fix that? Appreciate all u do 🙏🏼
Unfortunately I have a 4k tv with a RTX 3060 12GB / Ryzen 7 3700x and I get really bad performance. Tried settings used for Xbox one x and it didn’t help much. Makes me miss my Xbox now lol.

You need to use the new DLSS, 2.5.1, they removed the sharpening and fixed some issues so it looks almost exactly like native.

In RDR2 fps depends on what time of day you play. The worst fps is during sunrise between 4 and 6 am and evening. Regards :)

I think I'd go with a 3090.
How about a used 3080 or 6800XT?
3080 is 7% slower than 4070 and a used 3080 is 400$ and 6800xt is 11% slower than 4070 and is 500$

Thanks 4 answer(got a new pc to game cyberpunk n rdr2+witcher 3 next gen at max settings n works ok for just this+next stage of pc was the rtx3070 i7 12th gen for 450-600usd more so i dont really know it that would have been a better choice...But the rtx3060 12gb i5 12400f 16gb 3200mhz was that i had cash for so good for what i payed for it i think 1000usd or 1000euro or 10000skr(svenska kronor/swedish kronor)

this might be a lil bit of a hot take, but rdr2 needed some more patches on pc. r* dropped the support, yet they havent fixed some issues, such as TAA which makes the graphics seem like paintings when on and weirdly oversharped when off. i'm not saying by any means that this is a bad port, i think it's amazing and one of the best pc games ever, but it's nowhere near perfect and it couldve been better

Get 3060 8gb vram will be a necessity in the future (by future i mean now... every other game eats more vram with crappy looking textures.... And you are getting DLS as a bonus to)
Oh and ray tracing is just there for showcase... Don't expect much(it will run average)
Go 3060, it's similar to the 6600XT so it's faster and it has more VRAM

@@Pawankalyan1 sorry my English is not that good but what i wanted to say there is.... 8gb vram will be a necessity so getting a card that has 12gb of vram will be future proof .... And as for overclocking yes oc will give you some extra fps but you have to run RTX 3060 on low temperature room or it will be bad for longrun.
i wonder if you know why does rdr2 lag in towns, and outside them works fine (i have a 3060 12gb paired with an r5 3600), and my cpu goes crazy like 90% usage all the time and my gpu is at like 40%

Hey man i just got rtx 3060 and i think it has problems with my i5 6400 i tried playing warzone but i wasnt able to play because it only used 100% of cpu and low percentage of gpu. So i am wondering is this cpus fault or is it because i have 8 gb of ram

I've had my 16gb 3060 for 2 months now and its been amazing. I can run ultra on every game i play and never drop under 120fps. Most games run 144 consistently
The game recommended Specs is a duplicate of the minimal required specs on Steam... At least 3060 can deliver enough performance at 1440p or 21:9 1080p

Yo krysp, I got a 3060 MSI 12gb and every time I load rdr2 I get a gfx error every 10 minutes into the game. Idk what could fix this, I’ve dried deleting those pipeline files but it still crashes. Do yk what could fix that? Appreciate all u do 🙏🏼

Unfortunately I have a 4k tv with a RTX 3060 12GB / Ryzen 7 3700x and I get really bad performance. Tried settings used for Xbox one x and it didn’t help much. Makes me miss my Xbox now lol.
With dlss it should work.. you can always set the resolution to 1440p

6600 XT is better than the 3060, get it if it's cheaper, if not I'd go for the 3060 because it's an incredible card for the price
The 3060 runs on 1440p 70 FPS. Meanwhile, the PS5 still runs RDR2 on 30 FPS locked in 2023
