🦋🌿 Ben, thank you for another wonderful inspired video. This is a great reminder to keep good boundaries, and stop people pleasing. And that we are supposed to live in the world, not of the world. To me it is also a reminder that I need to reign in my compassion and empathy, and to allow natural consequences to be the teachers. While still helping those, that I can help 💕
It is only recently I have discovered this, A chance encounter with an Allan Watts audio (or was it?) 2 years ago has led me on an incredible journey of self discovery. The less I care, the more content I become. I am tapping on this keyboard with a huge smile and feeling of gratitude. Thank you for your content, it feels good and provides validation for my current epiphany on life.
😇 Thank you for sharing your wisdom with us Ben. It reminded me of teaching my children that, we are not here to make everyone happy, but to do the best to do what is right. If we try to make everyone happy , we will have to act like numerous different people. And that will distract us from our purpose here on earth. To be a righteous example to others, to saving of many souls.
Very true as always. Truly if I had not experience this myself I would be writing this well timed message, after working on the call center for 14 years and 8 months had to leave because I got sick, so I was slowly recovering but then again, I notice that I had to go inside my previous artificial stability caused by my monthly gain was gone, I no longer had the backing of exchanging my time for money, I only had like $62.50 to live every month supported by my mother lol. I was able to learn so much on this path 7 months. About being humble, being grateful and of seeing reality with another lens altogether it was an eye opening experience. I am no longer the same person after quitting my job and I do no think I will return to that place ever again is just that now, I understand my own inner calling and who I want to be, it has been a slow process that is still going but its challenging and fun. Am still struggling yes but am now focusing on relaxing, on meditating and looking out for creative ways to move forward, to find that fills me with joy and try to make out the shape of the puzzle piece that is me and fit it in reality instead of running away, I rather embrace life and challenges and growth and become who I came to be. Whatever that is lol.
