An easy way to keep things sorted is to give each child their own hamper. Then wash items by child instead of lumping everything together. Plus by doing this each child can have a certain wash day.
To identify the clothes, my family have always used the "dot system" where you use a permanent marker to put a dot on the label inside clothes - oldest got 1 dot, next 2, next 3 etc - so that anyone can immediately see who it belongs to but then when you hand stuff down to younger kids you just add extra dots to signify it's new owner.

Crystal! Re: How to label the kids clothes... In Canada I order from a company called Mabels Labels. I'm not sure if they are in the US too or you could find a similar company. You choose your colors and styles and they are laundry safe stickers with the kids names on them to put in the clothes. They dont come off in the wash. They also have a wash proof name stamp you can order and just stamp each clothing item on the inside. They also have stickers that are dishwasher safe to label lunch containers and school supplies. I swear by them, they're on all our stuff!

Each child rocked their outfit selections! Emma, Chez, and BTB have an awesome style that I absolutely LOVE!!! I’m so excited to officially meet them, and thrilled Logan and Brody will have more siblings their age. Oh, and honestly, Max truly rocks that hat. It may have started as a joke, but he really does pull it off! I could also watch videos with all the boys everyday! We need more of just them, please! They’re so fun, yet chill. Not attitudes. You can just buy a little bit of colour fast (no leaking colours I the wash) embroidery yarn and make a square, circle or design, where each boy have different "colour"and maybe different "design/ figure" too on the tag on the inside. It's very easy to remove if you ever want to donate the clothes if they aren't worn or used anymore, rather than marking them with names. I just want to say I really love all the kids different styles and how happy and great full they all are over getting their new clothes! You guys are such wonderful parents to all of these kids, and I absolutely love watching your videos! I found you quite recently, like 1-2 weeks ago, and I've watched all videos from 4 month and up till this one! Always looking forward to the next video!
I honestly think it's so important for kids to have the freedom to do this! I feel like I can hear the judgy comments already. Growing up I just had my mother so we got the things we needed and not what we wanted or that made us feel most comfortable or confident and happy. And so now I spend maybe more than I should on singular items of clothing because I need it to be good quality, last and something I feel special in and I think that's as a result of having no choice growing up. I'll always have my son choose the clothes he wants (here in the UK we have uniform) and that makes him feel his best even if it's expensive. I also (maybe I'm wrong) feel like the new kiddos maybe haven't had the chance or freedom to get clothes this way before, I could hear the twins excitement at how cool they felt their new clothes are and that warmed my heart so much! Also Emma's awesome style! The fact that she's getting to freely express that and have her new family support her in that and the twins is just amazing! All things most people maybe wouldn't put too much thought into. I just love you guys! Always inspiring us to be better and accept ourselves and be happy and that's really special! 🤍
Can you ask some of the kids about how long it took for them to start feeling like their new siblings were their siblings and not like new "friends"? Have to imagine coming into a new house with a lot of kids around your age feels a bit like their friends instead in the beginning.
Your boys have great taste in clothes! I like Logan , Brody , Jake and Luke’s first day outfits. Even if Jake is shy on camera, he’s going to make a great first impression! And to Logan- lots of us have to wear glasses and it’s better to get them and see better then having to strain them for distance or reading.

In my family we each had our own color. So we would put a dot with our color on the tag of all our clothing. It was a lot easier than writing names. And for hand me downs we just had to add a second dot color. We also each had a basket in the laundry room for our clean clothes that was also our color, and as things came out of the dryer they went straight into the corresponding laundry basket. We folded and put away our own clothes. It worked really well.
Crystal! I’ve already seen a few suggestions to keep the kids clothes separate but I’d be worried the marker would fade out. Instead you could designate a colour to each kid and sew a little strip of their colour in cotton to the tag! That way if a kid grows out of it you can just unpick the stitch and colour again for the next kid!

I'm not sure where you can buy them in the US (probably online somewhere) but you can get customized labels which you sew onto clothes (might get iron/glue on versions too). When I went to school I had to have all my school uniform and gym class clothes labelled with my name because everyone in the school wore the same outfits and it always helped out if we didn't know who's sweatshirt was lying around. That would probably help avoid mix-ups and might even help with clothes that get misplaced at school!

To keep the clothes organized you could do initials using your cricut with iron on. And keep it simple and iron it on by the tag on the neck. Just a tip. It could also be a good way to learn and try things out with your cricut. Hopefully that helps!

It's good that the two new kids are like on the same age as brody and logan, it's like their circle expanded. Before there were only two of them and now they have the two new kids. It's nice esp bec the older boys have their own big circle and the grls have that as well since almost all of them are on the same age.

You can always use a different colored thread for each boy and put a couple of stitches on a seam inside each piece of clothing. Even permanent makers tend to fade after awhile, but the stitches should be fine.
Let me recommend for clothing tags, rather then names (especially if you'll hand them down later), use dots. The oldest gets one dot, the second oldest gets two dots, and so on. Each boy will know how many dots they have.

The easiest way to tag the boys clothes is simply take a different color thread 🧵 for each boy and sew double thread through the tag. Then make a list of the corresponding name/color. It will even work on socks either at the toe or inside the top. The boys all look great in their new clothes!! I love how they each have their own style!!

You can buy mesh bags for laundry in differents colors and every one has its own one to put the clothes cause you can wash them in the bag
And since max is color blind the y can do something different in the bags

I'm not sure where you can buy them in the US (probably online somewhere) but you can get customized labels which you sew onto clothes (might get iron/glue on versions too). When I went to school I had to have all my school uniform and gym class clothes labelled with my name because everyone in the school wore the same outfits and it always helped out if we didn't know who's sweatshirt was lying around. That would probably help avoid mix-ups and might even help with clothes that get misplaced at school!
take photos of each kids new clothes and put pictures of them in a binder in the laundry room maybe so you can reference them when doing laundry

To keep the clothes organized you could do initials using your cricut with iron on. And keep it simple and iron it on by the tag on the neck. Just a tip. It could also be a good way to learn and try things out with your cricut. Hopefully that helps!
I use a dot system at my house. Because we hand down clothes, my oldest is one dot on the tag, my middle is two dots, and so on.
It made me so excited that Jake decided to go for some jeans. I rly liked how the black ones looked with the pink shirt. I feel like with some white shoes would look fire!!!

It's good that the two new kids are like on the same age as brody and logan, it's like their circle expanded. Before there were only two of them and now they have the two new kids. It's nice esp bec the older boys have their own big circle and the grls have that as well since almost all of them are on the same age.
You did excellent Crystal! Going Back to school clothes and shoes shopping with the girls and boys is no easy feat. Next and last are the school supplies and some backpacks. Can't wait to watch that. You can always use a different colored thread for each boy and put a couple of stitches on a seam inside each piece of clothing. Even permanent makers tend to fade after awhile, but the stitches should be fine.
Let me recommend for clothing tags, rather then names (especially if you'll hand them down later), use dots. The oldest gets one dot, the second oldest gets two dots, and so on. Each boy will know how many dots they have.
Or the other way round, so that the little kids aren’t having to count 12/13 dots to know it’s theirs?😊

Here at 18 secs. And though I am a fully grown 33 years old woman with 3 kids, which whom one of them is a teen, 14 years old to be a exact! Lol but for some reason school shopping videos EXCITE ME! Bc going back to school shopping was my favorite most exciting moments/memories I have from when I was young. Especially for high school. Now that I have my own kids I have to take school shopping I get even more excited . Anyways, love you crazy pieces!

Do you guys use the gym? That can be converted into a bedroom for one of the kids.
The easiest way to tag the boys clothes is simply take a different color thread 🧵 for each boy and sew double thread through the tag.
Then make a list of the corresponding name/color.
It will even work on socks either at the toe or inside the top.
The boys all look great in their new clothes!! I love how they each have their own style!!
