It was great to debunk the myth that Warwick students are not Oxbridge rejects! 😆It looks like a great Uni to be at. Great rapport, really informative - loved watching it!
Haha well, maybe it is only true for Taran- joking. It's definitely good to realise that Warwick is amazing in its own right. Nice campus too, constantly evolving.
In first year it was fab but, they repeat most the music so it’s very ‘samey’. That said, it’s great to have a club so close to your halls in first year so knock yourself out and visit for sure! :)
Hi Ria I really enjoyed your 73 question british uni student version🤩 love your accent too. Keep going on and I hope u can do 73 question with Birmingham Uni student.
Dear I am planning to do MBA from the university WARWICK need some help from you can you also tell me do the outside student get a job in UK through College campus can we connect via linkedin Thanks
Hey, please respond! I am applying to Warwick MA IPE right now. But the location bugs me. I dont want to be living out in the country. How developed is the Warwick area/Leamington(?)? What is the status of nightclubs, high-end gyms, public trafic (buses) etc? Im applying to london, manchester, and dublin aswell. Surely Warwick is the most rural one by far, but how "bad" is it? Hope you can respond! Cheers from Norway:)
Hey! Thank you for your question. So out of your choices, Warwick is the only campus based university. The rest will be far more ‘developed’ because they are intergeated into the city themselves. You’ll find that campus universities tend to be like their own little villages. Loughborough university for example, is very much like a student town. Warwick university is based in Coventry. The city is good as it has all the essential shops needed. Leamington has nicer places to eat and some more ‘higher- end’ shops. In third year I noticed that a few friends started staying in Birmingham and commuting to Warwick University (20min train). The advantage of this is that you live in a big, developed city and study at a great uni at the same time. Issue is, not many people do this because you’ll miss out on the social aspect. My advice would be, think hard about if you want to go to a campus based or city based university. Both have their pros and cons. So weigh up what matters most to you :) A good way to this about it is, can I live in that location for three years? If the answer is no, perhaps consider another university :)
@@taransohal2361 Hi! Thanks for the response! To adress your last point first; this is a master’s degree, not bachelor/undergrad, so it would only be 1 year! This helps in my decision. Or perhaps creates the question itself. I most likely would not want to do 3-4 years «campus-based», but only 1 year I can definitely manage. I have given this some thought, and I think I will apply to it but prefer to accept offers from London and Manchester. However, since I am applying so late (this week), I might not get an offer from there. I’ve understood that in UK, you should apply asap, preferably before New Year’s, to get the best chance of an offer. I probably won’t be disappointed with Warwick, at all, but I know myself best and I would prefer the larger cities over the campus-based unis. We’ll see! Can I ask you one more question? I am unsure about warwicks english certificate requirement; can I forward this after I have applied, as with my finished degree, or do I have to already have the test results ready to attach in my application. I think the website is a bit unclear on this. Can you help? The course is MA International Political Economy, and I’m Norwegian, if that plays any part. Thanks again for your help! -Magnus
@@djmagzbtd Hey Magnus, I'm glad Taran could be of help to you! With regards to the English qualifications question, I would advise you to email Warwick directly. As home students, we generally are not hugely aware of the international process. I hope you get the answers you're looking for! All the best for next year :)
@@djmagzbtd Absolutely no worries! With regard to the English Language qualifications, get in touch with the admissions tutors for your course. They will be different for different courses and also different depending on undergrad/ masters. I think your decisions are quite wise, you’re clearly thinking about stuff in the right way. One thing to add- yes, you are right that offers do start before January but, that doesn’t mean you won’t get offers (even for competitive courses). Just imagine, let’s say all the applicants with lower grades apply first, then all those with the better ones won’t get offers! I’m applying to a masters at the moment too so, please don’t feel your at disadvantage for applying now :) Good luck! Feel free to email if you have any more specific questions (email ad in the description)

I mean, I've heard that said about like five different unis at this point, so I really don't think it means much anyways
Also like if u think about it if the people who don’t get into oxbridge think this is their next best option it’s gotta be amazing right?
Double negative in your first sentence (the not is redundant).
@@henrymilne9461 haha true. You could really say the same for places like UCL, LSE, Durham, Bristol, KCL, theres loads of 'oxbridge rejects' places
