@@778ihb4 hey! You have to figure out where you went wrong in your first attempt, if you don't know exactly what you did wrong, the drop year will not be as effective. And there is no such thing as being smart, clat is a skill based test and those skills can be learnt with enough practice. I will suggest you to take some time off, then come back and introspect about your mistakes and how are you going to rectify them. Take the decision wisely and then try to convince your parents accordingly. I think it is worth giving it a second shot.
Nice 👍...i couldn't attempt a total of 55 questions due to time constraint. I am a painfully slow reader and sometimes overthink and my mind wanders a lot ...out of 95 attempted, got 70+ right with an aggregate score of 65. I did not prepare at all. Seriously, it's such a wonderful exam ... I'm from science stream, and like to read books, and i came to know about clat. It mostly tests your reading comprehension and general knowledge... This might invite a lot of flak but in my opinion coaching is not a sine qua non to ace clat. Even if I had managed my time well, I'd have gotten a score of 95-100...with no preparation. But yes, for some people coaching helps. Good for them
@Soumil we agree with you, everyone doesn't require coaching. With proper self-study one can crack any exam. As you mentioned some students require coaching and guidance to overcome their fear of exams and time management. All the best for your future and preparation.

@@priyanshi9620 sorry i don't use insta, the stream doesn't really matter a lot, but choose something that won't burden you. I generally don't prefer science stream but I've seen many friends getting amazing ranks while managing their hectic schedules. I preferred commerce with math because it had a mix of both practical and theory subjects. Mostly people go for humanities. Do what suits you well and the stream doesn't really matter anyway.
