    They should charge the hospital bosses too who covered for her, threatened the consultant doctors who suspected and made reports about her, and even made these consultant doctors draft an apology letter to her as well as apologize to her face.

      Suspension isn't enough. They need to never be allowed near a hospital again and need to serve some jail time. If you get a report that a nurse stood over a baby who was coding without intervening, you have blood on your hands. I know you're not saying suspension is enough, you may just be informing us, but they need to be behind bars

    Why was there no investigation after the first baby died ?...and then the second, third and so on. How the superiors in this hospital let these deaths go by without an explanation is beyond acceptable . The management must share the blame for this . 7 babies do not just die. There is a reason . This monster should have been caught much earlier.

      Sadly its not unusual for sick premature babies to die. Letby knew how to disguise it as a normal death even so it was only when statistics showed that deaths were more frequent than usual that anyone would be aware of the possibility of the problem. Doctors had become suspicious but nobody listened to them and its so bizarre and rare that they must have doubted themselves too. She was nice, sweet, ordinary and an excellent nurse.

      I don't think an investigation is necessary when a baby dies, but an autopsy should be made to see the cause of death. I donno if air in the bloodstream proves it was an attempt of murder/harm.

      The deaths were not considerd suspicious in themselves to begin with. Then they created a case around Lucy's presence with theories. . Faulty scientific information was presented as fact. Medical 'experts' gave testimony outside their field of expertise. Then other 'experts' (also giving testimony outside their field of expertise) were then asked to make further 'independent' assessments, and just magically came to the SAME conclusions as the first 'expert' did WITHOUT ANY PROOF. These non experts came to the police investigation via one source: The National Crime Agency. There is a reason people believe this is a very concerning case.

I feel sorry for the nurses that worked beside her and have to have their name said in the same sentence as Letby. Details of all deaths and unexpected, unexplained or suspicious occurrences throughout the medical profession should be recorded in a national database, along with the names of those on duty at the time. A relatively simple computer algorithm would identify the kind of pattern we see in this case (whereby Letby was present for every single death/incident ) likely much sooner than the suspicions of co-workers were aroused and/or acted upon. This system would also flag up death/incident rates that were significantly higher than the norm, and have the added benefit of effectively tracking medical workers across different medical establishments. As soon as pre-determined threshold is reached, this should trigger an immediate, independent investigation. This method would reduce the dependency on co-workers to notice and subsequently air their suspicions, and take the decision to investigate out of the hands of executives. It should be a legal obligation to supply all this information. Had such a system been in place years ago, Harold Shipman's crimes would have been discovered much, much earlier.

    • @basicallyno1722
      @basicallyno1722 10 месяцев назад +2

      That WAS being tracked and she was being reported for suspicion by numerous consultant doctors....and it was the hospital bosses that threatened the doctors with action if they didnt stop reporting her. They even made the doctors apologize to Lucy. This was well-documented

    • @darrenlovatt4239
      @darrenlovatt4239 10 месяцев назад +4

      @@basicallyno1722 You're missing the point of my post. There is no NATIONAL database to which it is mandatory to submit details of such deaths and unexpected, unexplained or suspicious occurrences, along with staffing rotas. Had there been, and the algorithm in place, then it would have automatically been flagged for investigation - rather than leaving that decision in the hands of those executives. If all medical facilities and operations were obligated by law to submit such information to the database, then it would also 'track' people by name, wherever they worked, even when moving from one medical facility to another, and link them to such occurrences, thus making detection more likely, more timely and ultimately not at risk of being dismissed/ignored. In other words, it takes those executives out of the equation to a large degree.

      Yes so it's rather odd that the deaths increased after she was taken off the unit, isn't it. We have been given a totally biased story, as usual. It's conjecture, what she is supposed to have done, in a room with 3 other incubators all with staff who you think might have noticed another nurse injecting a baby with air. Professor Norman Fenton interviews a substacker called Law Health Technology, and his substack presents damning evidence which Letby's solicitor is, I think, negligent in not presenting. If you can read this substack and still think she's guilty I'd be surprised.

    Even the name “Lucy” is sweet, gentle and soft sounding. I find it difficult to refer to Letby by her first name. I’d prefer to stick to her last name. It also fucks with my brain that she looks so innocent and gentle and my brain doesn’t like that as it argues with all the shortcuts brains love to take when judging potential threats and her face doesn’t match the insidious monster she is inside.

Id like to see a public statement from the Royal College of Nurses that say she has been expelled and they apologise to the victims also and how horrified they are I haven't seen anything from them as yet. It is not important I know but it seems appropriate. So sorry to the victims and families. I'm a not an expert on this case and I am just expressing an personal opinion I am not saying that I am necessarily right about my own opinions I just wanted to make a general public comment on the case.

    Im sick of people saying LL is innocent.
    Premature babies do not just die suddenly. They survive birth and being hooked up to machines. They thrive and certainly do NOT bleed to death or inject themselves with insulin. If not LL.. then who?? Since everybody else was ruled out!

    • @SK-nc6mn
      @SK-nc6mn 10 месяцев назад +1

      What was the criteria for ruling them out? And the biggest criteria for convicting her was that she was there. Of course she was. She was the duty nurse. Was anyone else investigated for having a beef against her? To have done things and left for the blame to fall on LL.

    • @basicallyno1722
      @basicallyno1722 10 месяцев назад

      yes actually - the hospital defended her and made the NUMEROUS consultant doctors who suspected her, apologize to her@@SK-nc6mn they even forbid the doctors from alerting the police. They moved her shifts around and gave her stable, non-urgent babies. Once she began caring for them, THOSE stable babies started destabilizing out of nowhere. It was her....she even wrote notes eluding to killing these babies which they used for evidence.

    • @reeva5735
      @reeva5735 10 месяцев назад +5

      @@SK-nc6mn once the police were alerted a team was put together with them NOT being given any suspects name. LL was the only person who they found could not be ruled out. That's not a coincidence.. It was Lucy Letby.

    • @SK-nc6mn
      @SK-nc6mn 10 месяцев назад +2

      @@reeva5735 so the police engaged independent medical consultants to examine the situation? Did they also analyze the doctors for any negligence or whether the babies were just too premature? Now the deaths stopped because the hospital stopped taking more than 5 week preterms. Just saying that a person has been termed a monster and her life taken away on mere circumstancial evidence.

    • @reeva5735
      @reeva5735 10 месяцев назад

      @@user-yz1jq6yx4c people need to STOP looking for any excuse - because being a "crap" hospital does not explain the non-disputed facts.. for insulin was injected into a baby, not by magic but by hand. A baby bled to death, after LL told his mother not to worry about the blood around his mouth, saying it was caused by a tube rubbing on his throat. The baby BLED OUT on LL watch. PHYSICAL attacks are not unexplainable... Only when you look at the SURGE in collapses, resuscitations and unexplained deaths around LL in that same 12 month period, compared to previous years and also including ALL other hospital neo natal deaths do you see the alarming pattern emerging. Those babies were targeted and listening to an hour here an hour there of 'repeated' information on RUclips.. it's merely scratching the surface of what was revealed during the TEN MONTH trial. LL was OBSESSED with particular babies and their families.. even the BEST nurses don't save patients records or search for parents regularly on social media. And they certainly would NOT be writing in their private diary one year after the incident. Lucy Letby is not right in the head. Seriously.
